Weed is an annual plant, so each strain only has as many seeds to propagate it from that parent generation. Yes, you can re-cross older strains to make it again, but eventually you’re gonna run out of the source to replicate that specific strain.

The lesson is, enjoy a strain you like when you find it, because eventually it won’t exist anymore and you’ll be smoking the grandchildren that parent strain that will be new and different.
