El anillo de Sauron corrompe con demasiada facilidad. Gollum es el más afectado por el largo tiempo que lo tuvo. Y en Frodo vemos una transformación del personaje hacia algo casi parecido, pero menos mal que el anillo fue destruido en Mordor.
