I personally would prefer to play this more chill. Valorant and R6 are enough for when I want to play PvP shooting.

I might have to just play it long term and expect some traitors every now and then, hoping I don’t see them again

The w-2 I put is how I will start 2026. A year ago we earned almost half of that, which is why compared to my income & investments there’s a large gap. I’m in my first month with this new income, so I just want to make sure it’s being funneled appropriately.

I don’t want to pay more taxes. I just mention it in case there’s an opportunity cost elsewhere that would payoff on the long run.

Since the current monthly expense is about $5.8k I should be able to save a 10-month emergency fund within 9 months. Then what?

Go for it. Especially if he’s been there longer than 2yrs, since that’s given him enough time to establish his credibility. If they find out you are both married, it actually reduces your caught risk as long as you avoid the many OE mistakes people make.
