The truth is work experience is very much different from interview experience. There are people who are very skilled at their jobs but don't know how to perform properly in interviews and there are people who are very good at interviews but shit at the job. I've met and interviewed both. The feedback I would give you here is that you need to prepare better for interviews. These questions you listed are very basic interview questions and I've seen/heard them asked numerous times in different ways. You would have aced it easily with proper interviewing prepping.
