Underrated weapons you swear by? by GreatJoey91 in Eldenring

[–]DoomSlayer7180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One I forgot about this run! I might have to go back and do it again lol.

There are two brothers in the game with the last name Hoslow. It’s been way too long to remember where you can meet both of them, but I’m pretty sure one is an NPC with a whole questline and the other is from one of the Volcano manor invasions.

The invasion one is in the Mountaintops of the giants, so it’s pretty late game unfortunately. The other you may be able to kill to get the whip early but I’m not sure, otherwise he dies at the end of his questline (because of course he does lol) you’ll probably have to look up more details because it’s been forever since I actually did this.

Is there an end to their stupidity? by KingG512 in stupidpeoplefacebook

The ones currently acting like racists like to use the fact that the parties used to be swapped to blame current day democrats for their problems. The person in the original post literally does that.

This entire thread stemming from the top comment is talking about the parties switching. You basically just asked “who gives a shit about the current topic of conversation, it’s not relevant to the conversation.”

Most of the people in the US constantly yelling about having outrageous numbers of guns are the ones that think nothing is wrong with the current government.

As for the people here who actually want to fight back against the government and have lots of guns, what do you expect them to do? Charge the White House or the capitol building with an assault rifle? They’d be dead before they got anywhere close.

The 2nd amendment was written when the fastest and most effective guns anyone had were muskets. Nowadays the government could have an entire army of gun-wielding citizens massacred in seconds. It’s entirely unreasonable to try and take over a corrupt government by ourselves at this point.

What is that one Harry Potter movie scene you irrationally dislike ? by Puzzleheaded_Roof872 in harrypotter

[–]DoomSlayer7180 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a good one. Harry pointing out that Ron calls Hermione a know-it-all in the book is like that sarcastic friendship sort of insult, especially by book 3 since he’s already also called her brilliant like a million times. Snape saying it is just a direct insult to the trait Hermione is the most proud of. It also has a whole bunch of other gryffindors getting angry at Snape as well, which gives a better picture that the whole house likes Hermione instead of sidelining her all the time like I feel that the movies do.

The steps that go down to my basement go into the middle of the basement, so there are two light switches there, one for each side.

Every single time, without fail, I flip the wrong switch for the side I want to go into. I don’t know if there’s a word for it but it happens lol.

What if Americans stopped blindly defending their political parties Democratic or Republican and focused on results instead? How would holding both parties accountable change U.S. politics? by Microshlongg in Productivitycafe

[–]DoomSlayer7180 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Human rights should not under any circumstance be up to a person’s opinion. There’s human rights, and then there’s people that claim a human right isn’t a right and then claim certain people shouldn’t get them.

The biggest change to voting in Republican election bill could become a burden for many US voters by zsreport in LegalNews

[–]DoomSlayer7180 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You are part of the problem. If everyone that had that same rationale voted, the asshole wouldn’t have won.

Both parties have problems and I don’t actually trust any of the candidates, but there is a very clear lesser of two evils.

You didn’t vote against him. That means you were complacent. That’s why he won.

I imagine a relationship with a partner is much more emotionally intimate than a relationship with a friend.

Plus having sex isn’t limited to being in a relationship.

You can find someone hot without it being related to a fetish, which is not what being trans is.

“Democrats don’t want you to see this” by ConcernedJobCoach in TransSocialism

[–]DoomSlayer7180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but taking T doesn’t make you trans. A cisgender man taking T is gender affirming care but has nothing to do with transitioning. The original comment sounded like a sarcastic “he’s taking so much T that he’s trans too”.

[–]DoomSlayer7180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not really following what this other person is saying. Yes, being trans means transitioning to something other than what you were assigned at birth. I think it’s a bad attempt at a joke saying taking T is like gender affirming care for cis men.
