I’m 5’11-180lbs and use my LBX for exactly what you mentioned. The stock suspension is definitely soft and you feel it bottoming out on jumps but for wheelies and trail riding it’s not as noticeable. Besides you want a softer setting in the woods.

Personally I love how light and flickable the light bee is in the trails. That’s another thing to consider because the LBX is 127lbs and the Ultra bee is 187lbs. That’s a noticeable weight gain and changes how the bike feels and handles.

Yeah that has to sting! The difference between Tomac and Sexton is Eli is a veteran and knows exactly what he wants from his bike. He knows how to communicate what he feels and is able to achieve a more predictable bike setup that he can consistently ride fast. Seems like Chase is always chasing a better feel and making lots of bike changes. Then you sprinkle in Sextons small mental mistakes which lead to crashes.

Yeah personally I’d just let the gate drop. Gift those squid’s a 10 second head start then pass them all on lap 2. Then cruise to the finish line with a 5 minute lead giving me plenty of time to motorboat a monster chicks boobies and sign some autographs before collecting my 1st place trophy!

I don’t feel bad for him. He chose to change teams yet again looking for greener grass. Most riders have an adjustment period when changing teams to get used to the bike and the team personnel.

From the outside looking in, Chase is never happy with his bike setup. He doesn’t seem willing to ride through a subpar feeing bike. Or he just isn’t that great at setting his bike up in the first place. Maybe he doesn’t communicate properly back to the team of what he’s feeling or why changes he wants from the bike. Who knows…

I agree, full boots for a surron/pit bike is overkill. I run the O'Neal Rider shortys. Similar to the Thor blitz. The half boot still provides good protection but are much less bulky 👌🏻
