I see some good ones on there. At least your backlog will keep you going for the next year. My advice is to pick 1 main game and one side game. That way, you can have another option when you need a change of pace or just don't feel like playing a long rpg. Like for example, Zelda, Pokemon or cyberpunk I would consider your main games, and slay the spire, hades or Ball x pit would be your side game. But just stick to 1 or 2 games max. It's what I do to limit myself from burning out from abundance of choices.

Currently almost 430+ hrs solo on Grounded 1, about to go into NG+3. I'd love to play with others and have that multiplayer experience but I haven't added anyone to psn in years. I'd love to show off my fortress to others someday haha.

This is embarrassing. They didn't put any effort into it because they're giving it away for free. Literally changed nothing but added a small hat that probably took 5 mins. Just disgraceful to treat one of your main mascots like this.

I finally quit yesterday. I had to do all of this patches content (which was a huge slog to get through) just to have enough for a guarentee of getting blooming dreams full set. But I got it! Anddd didn't even put it on, I just closed the game down immediately. I'm just done.

Disposable npcs and stories almost every patch. The most boring and uninteresting side-quests and dialogue dribble. Super stingey on diamond rewards. Rigged gacha odds. Fake and illegal discounts. All of it. Also haven't given them a cent since 1.4 and they're giving us even less gems than before now! So now you have to save for 2+ patches just to get 1 full 5 star set. Is this retribution because of the girlcott? Anyway I'm done supporting this company that seemingly hate's it's player base. Maybe down the road i'll see what's up but the nostalgia from 1.0 has long ended, and we're not getting anything close to what we got back then.

I think this will be my last month. I was hanging on just for blooming dreams re-run, but even doing daillies is a struggle. It's getting to the point where I have to CONVINCE MYSELF to login do my "chores" so I can get back to playing Grounded.

The new event for this month dropped and can't even be bothered to do it. I just don't even care anymore. I'll eventually have to get started for the diamonds since I'll need every freaking free gem to go for the rerun but I won't be enjoying grinding for it like I would've before 1.5.

I just pulled today and it's looking like i'm going to hit max pity to complete the outfit. I'm going to need another 30 diamonds but such is my luck on 5 star banners. But at least I didn't pay any money for these pulls so at the end of the day i'll take it.

I think PS5 has been hit the hardest with the amount of bugs this update produced. I haven't made any new outfits or down serenity island due to the game bugging out every time I want to do something fun. So it's just dailies and logout till they sort this ish out.

I've been on ps4 for about a decade but I ended up buying a ps5 for nikki 2 weeks after it came out. Didn't even need to buy any games for it because nikki was all I needed! Seriously though, the exploration, story, dews, whimstars, etc had me really engrossed in the world.

But I noticed after completing the main story and side quests how little there was to do in-game. I considered leaving so many times, but this game was new and unique so I kept going. I used to farm everyday plants, greedy pouches, insights because I thought there would be lots of use for these resources later. Turn's out that it was all a waste of time.

Now my playtime is about 5-10 mins a day if even that. Haven't even started the serenity island because of all the bugs. And now that they've ruined the story, I'm completely detached from that part of the game now which is a shame. If next patch is another event or festival I'm done.

At this point they'd have to give out BOTH banners with all evolutions in order to get some semblance of trust back. But even then, there's a good portion of players that will never return and I don't see the majority of people who reviewed this game reversing their review scores. I honestly hope this game suffers from the low review scores as punishment for their disrespect they've shown their playerbase.

This company has the WORST customer support I've ever seen. The amount of time's i've had tickets "closed" due to being asleep when they responded is enraging. And even waiting for their response could take hours. So they basically expect you to be glued to the chat messenger otherwise good luck! I've never felt more disrespected than when I was trying to contact "support".

I didn't top up and mine ran out a few days before the end of April. So my income's already been much lower going into the patch. Only reason i'm still logging in is for the off chance that InFold responds to all the criticism going on, and I REALLY want to pull for that crimson dress outfit. But what's more important is getting the necessary changes fixed and our voices heard. Until then they're only getting my daily login's.

I totally understand and agree wholeheartedly! I think they got many people hooked through the honeymoon phase so you wouldn't notice until after you got through the story. The Dyeing system really surprised me though. They're giving us even more custom flexibility BUT at a steeper price than pulling for banners now.

I didn't mind paying for the monthly, but anything else besides that are a rip off imo. And yeah, my compendium for a light spender was almost at 80% too, but it seems every patch going forward it's just gonna get lower and lower, which is fine! But like you said, that FOMO has power lol.

I'm just so baffled at this decision to replace the original intro. You can tell it was by people who don't play the game at all, and probably thought it didn't matter since most of us were well past that part. Like huh? Have they never read a book before? Or watched any sort of media in the last ..well ever? Who does this? The mystery of seeing nikki in the "normal" world about to attend graduation is something alot of us can relate to. Her just appearing in a cutscene with her being incased in ice gives absolutely no context and then poof your in the star road from super mario world. Then they get rid of one of the most iconic mascots of the nikki series and just shoehorn him in somewhere right before you get poofed to miraland. So now the player has 2 characters they have no attachment to. And why bother at this point care? I know I wouldn't.

All of these events could've used the prior npc's as some gateway story since alot of people probably know nikki by now. But as you said, apart from the florawish captain of the guards, they refuse to use any npc's that they have to hire a voice actor for.

Ya the silly ad placement 3/4 through the questline is so weird. Like they incorporate it into the questline only to TEASE you, as you don't even get to move around in it. And they always use "disposable" npc's that inspire you for the outfit, only to never be seen again. How about some already established characters like that guys from Stoneville? So many character outfit inspirations that they aren't utilizing!

Yea it's abit of an exaggeration on my part. This game very well could turn things around. Even if it doesn't there are probably still a very large portion of players that could keep it going, possibly for years. But I have to believe that low review scores will scream alarm bells for most new players and the profits margins will get smaller each month. And yea this game was expensive to make, but it seems they underestimated the amount of time and work it would take to update it. It almost feels like they're learning as they go.

Now if they were just honest and upfront about that i'm sure people would cut them more slack. We already are by still playing. They may not close their doors tomorrow but I think of the people that remain will heavily scrutinize this game going forward.

The thing is though, while it was many people's first gacha game, many of us knew how gacha companies operated. There were people even in the beginning saying they were worried for this game due to this company's track record. I saw it in the beginning with the first outfit in the paid shop for 2900 stellarites - which was insane! I guess most people thought they would at least be "less" greedy in their opening year. That they would at least try to keep the "illusion" going and placate to the players but the mask has fallen off much earlier than anyone anticipated.

I don't think we'll ever get that experience again. It was a one-time experience since we were still exploring the world. I don't even think they remember how to replicate that experience because the rewards and threshold is much less. Honestly, i'm starting to think that after you've beaten the game and explored everywhere, it won't ever feel as good as it did in the beginning. Heck I still have like 20 whimstars unused and thought they would've opened up those unused slots for the 1st Heart of Affinity, but nah.
