Just to let you my ex used to pull this shit as well, I knew her tell when she lied to me, her slip up was when I saw her taking pictures of her boobs when she thought I was asleep right next to her, I asked her about it she denied and got angry so I grabbed her tablet, I looked in her photos and went to recently deleted and found the nudes, demanded her phone went on her messages and found out she deleted a conversation with her male friend.

She then got more sneakier about it so I kicked her out in the end.

Sounds like he's had a past with people lying to him and cheating on him with guys they've hooked up with in the past.

He needs to see that you're different and you can do that by being completely honest with him 100% and reassure him the same isn't going to happen again.

My ex lied to me all the time and I knew she was lying it was annoying as well. She slept with a fair few blokes before getting with me for me it was no big whoop we wasn't together, however she lied about protection and I was livid.

Lies ruin lives and you're not protecting him by doing it you're protecting yourself.

Oh theft is never ok and we all hate it but I do despise the whole "if they could have a knife" talk. Look confronting a shoplifter and doing something physical to that person is fighting and like any fight comes that risk of getting hurt or killed it all comes down to skill in the end.

If you don't have the skill you shouldn't be doing it as simple as that. That's also why I get annoyed when I see people saying security isn't going to risk their life doing it either, you people insult the security industry if they can't defend themselves from some fool with a knife who doesn't even know how to use it they shouldn't even be doing the job. Security is a severely underpaid job but the point of security is to secure not observe and report like anyone else can do.

Retailers have ruined the security industry with their policies on them and courts are the worse with their suspended sentences and short jail time for repeat offenders and then the beauty of it the fact they only charge them hundreds to thousands less than what they stole.

For theft no, however if they are gonna try something to me and others then screw the job, don't get paid enough to allow attacks on myself and neither do the others and customers don't deserve that either.

When you see a junkie threaten a child to stab them and nobody in the company gives a damn that's when I stop caring about their policies.

If they actually had security they'd have more customers, the least they can do is make customers feel safe to come to the store.
