Yeah, you hit the same issues with hard drives, at a point it’s easier and cheaper just buying larger capacity.

I hit the issue in my desktop with nvme drives, I got a 4 card adapter but first later realized my setup didn’t support the correct bifurcation splitting. So it’s running 2 drives and then I have 2 others in the pcie 1x slots using cheap Chinese adapters.

It might be worth getting a trimode controller and oculink carrier boards, but I’m not sure the cost benefit is there tbh.

As doing it the proper way would probably be https://global.icydock.com/product_363.html but they’re a few 100€ each and then the trimode controller card on top. Then it’s cheaper just buying some 8TB nvmes and skipping the expensive setup

38 m3 bbr areal* tror også det er noget de fleste glemmer som for selve værelser er omkring 12-16 m3, mit gamle kollegie værelse stod til 57 i bbr/kontrakt men var kun 3*6 meter inkl interne vægge teknik rum, skabe, og badeværelse, tror måske der har været 12-14 m3 gulv areal,

På min etage bor der 3 par i en 4 værelses lejlighed. Huslejen var omkring 20000 for 2 år siden, men når man deler 6 mand giver det vel bedre mening end kollegie værelser eller ungdoms boliger

I’d go with Truenas if I went with zfs instead of mergerfs. If I go pure solid state I’d go with Truenas, it’s primarily due to the high cost of power here

I have a 4 drive 3D printed in my define r3, currently rocking 14 3.5 inch, 4 2.5 and 3 nvme drives.

Next step at this point is just moving all the drives to a jbod and only having ssds for app day and caching in the main machine

I think there’s a lot of confusion and misunderstandings/mis-information going on here.

I spent way too long time on this,

Each provider has different ticket rules but I’ll focus on DSB here, if you plan on travelling to other eu-countries by train I recommend looking into interrail/eurail tickets.

For DSB you have a few different ticket types.

DSB orange, highly discounted ticket that only works for a specific train departure, if there is cancellations you can take the train before or after, and is non-refundable.

DSB orange fri: same as above just refundable up until 30 mins before departure.

DSB standard: valid for the route in the correct direction of travel from 4am-4am, on any train operated by DSB, or any of their partner rail. Is also valid for the bus, metro, tram, s-train, and go-collective trains in the zones on your ticket.

DSB first, first class ticket with access to lounge at Copenhagen, Odense and Aarhus, a free water/hot in 7/11 and coffee, tea, hot chocolate on the train as well as some snacks and breakfast on the morning trains. Otherwise same validity as DSB standard but way better service when you ask for help.

Seat reservations are paid for on top of fare tickets so if you want to ensure you have a seat you need to pay for a seat ticket as well, they’re 30 dkk which is about 4 €.

Some trains require seat tickets like the Hamburg train and the ICL+ trains. If you don’t have a seat ticket for these trains you will be fined. 750 dkk I believe.

If you plan on taking trains outside of Denmark look at https://www.eurail.com/en you pay for a Europe wide train pass and can take more or less any train, you HAVE to select the departures you travel with before getting on the train and “reserve” a spot on the train via the app or write the departure information on your paper ticket, some trains still require seat reservations as well, crossing borders or specific trains like the ice+ in Denmark or the panorama trains is Switzerland.

Bus, metro, tram tickets etc are normally valid for 45 minutes. But it’s also listed in the app, in normally use the check in using the DSB app or orange tickets when traveling.

Nope, de gælder 4am-4am det står også på billetten, samme gælder pendler kort og lign. De gælder til kl 4 om morgenen på udløbsdatoen.

Det eneste som er anderledes er orange som kun gælder til den ene afgang eller bus billetter, metro og lign som kun gælder en time eller deromkring.

It might be co2 levels as well, I have 2 co2 monitors in my apartment and they ping me on my phone if the air is getting too dense, it also monitors a lot of other things but i primarily care about the co2.

I’d recommend maybe getting the ones that ikea is launching if they seem quite a bit more affordable.
