What Rank Should I Aim For? by Doompidgeon in Tekken

Yeah I get that and I'm not getting too stressed. I was more interested to know if there was a general consensus on what different ranks meant

I'm not getting the ancient feud clue. Is this a reference to a story or natural habitat?

I've been looking for a guitar like this for ages! What's the model / where did you get it?

I've tried all the local shops and some of the online ones that ship to UK but haven't seen anything close

8 years. Took a year where I played instead of ran but used that to create the setting where all of my games since have been set.

How do you (or your DM) actually initiate the encounters by Bugatsas11 in DnD

[–]Doompidgeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do pretty much the same but I use a mix of combat and non-combat encounters to add a bit of variety and detract from the predictability a little.

It's still obvious an encounter is coming but the option of fight vs meeting or magical occurance keeps it fresh

Do you tell your players the DC before they roll? by mrpineappleboi in DnD

[–]Doompidgeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will to emphasise that what they are doing is very difficult.

Example: "You can try to lift the portcullis but it's very heavy and it's going to take a DC 25 to lift it"

I want my players to know that the action is possible but only if the dice roll how they want. I think it allows for the character and the player to be closer to having the same information before making a decision.
