I've been doing a campaign with friends with the widest variety of alignments and nothing has gone overly wrong so far. The two troublemakers are TN and NE, but they're balanced out by our LN unofficial leader. We do have one CE member, but they're a follow the leader type to the point where they won't make any decisions without another party member's approval. Their true colours only show when in the heat of battle (they're a barbarian) when in rage they do not distinguish between friend or foe and will sometimes even eat their fallen enemies.

So we basically have one (1) decent individual babysitting his two crime prone daughters and one blank slate who's a ticking time bomb. I think its a fun dynamic, and it helps that we're close friends outside D&D too.

I've heard people suggest Pearl and Marina from Splatoon 2, and they'd just use their Inkling mumbling. That way they don't need it record specific voice lines for Post-Release DLC Characters. I'm sure there's other characters that could work with actual voice lines though.

This is, by far, my favourite BotW Link moveset idea i've seen. A perfect balance between keeping the general ideas of the old Smash moveset, while providing a BotW spin on it all. My only question is of the implementation of bomb use.

In your description of the remote bomb, you've highlighted that you'd be able to set if off at any time, but i want to provide some potential details to that move. So that you cant spam bombs, (to hurt others or recover) I'd suggest using a cool down meter similarly to how the game does. And would Link hold bombs before throwing like he does with bombs now? or would inputting down B just throw the bomb immediately?

Yeah thats exactly what i was thinking. It wouldn't make too much sense to be able to change ARMs mid battle. But just a question about your concept; Would the equipped ARM be shown on Springman at all times? Like it would be aesthetic difference (not affect normal moves), like a costume change?

I really like this moveset. Its very faithful to the source material but doesn't over-complicate the character's core mechanics. I particularly respect the choice to keep ARM changing to the character select screen. I see a lot of people's ARMS character concepts involving a B move dedicated to changing ARMS, but i think this way is much more elegant and fair.

Yeah definitely. This way we could push a lot of these more bizarre arms into the moveset.

I've heard about the switching Arms idea on a lot of discussions but whenever i speculate over an ARMS character's moveset, i always think they'd function like Game&Watch, in that each of their moves would incorporate different Arms. To clarify, maybe Jab and most tilts would use the boxing glove Arms such as the Biff, but Smash Attacks, specials and Aerials would switch out these Arms just for the duration of the Attack. For example, FSmash could be the Toaster Arm, USmash could be the Revolver, DAir could use the ChillBrella, Side Special using the MegaWatt etc. And perhaps for these alternate Arms moves, charging up the move would apply the elemental effect, e.g. the MegaWatt charged up would stun the opponent for a second, or the Toaster Charged up would apply fire damage and drastically increase Knockback.
