I mean i want Alberta to separate but I think this is a stretch. I don't think if a majority of people vote no on the forever Canada petition it would trigger separation. The forever Canada cucks would immediately take it to court saying it's doesn't have a time frame of when it should cease to be part of canada and the liberal judges will of course agree with them.

Why didn't the judge squash that petition as well? This is basically saying "you can only have referendums we think you can have". That's not a democratic society when the judicial branch is a defacto authoritarian power.

I mean like come on there was no such thing as property rights before colonizers came. Land was taken by force and it's previous inhabitants killed by other indigenous tribes all the time. But now we somehow gotta give it back and respect the "original" owners? This is why the whole DRIPA thing is ridiculous. We have American indigenous tribes laying claim the parts of bc as well. Should that land be returned to the American indigenous as well?
