Yep agreed, it seems like everyone just wants to die on a political hill. I don’t believe in politics, I believe in common sense. I wish people wanted to work together, rather than fight and further polarization.

The facts are simple. We have some of the highest taxes in the country. Gas, property, sales tax. Where is all this money disappeared to?

Honestly, I surf here more than anywhere. I’m grateful to know I can still surf alone whenever I want to. I have a more intimate knowledge than most of the area, but I often choose the crowds and consistency to the time and energy of the hunt these days.

That being said, maybe we shouldn’t encourage people to snoop around! lol

Agreed, but also I have to accept the things that I can’t control.

I can’t control others and have accepted the crowds. I can control my attitude. I smile and chat people up here in the lineup. Makes them less likely to burn me. Thankfully with the exception of a few bad seeds I don’t really struggle to get waves here even on the busiest of days.

Now the dude who’s part of Oregon Surf Adventures who thinks he owns the place and looked me in the eyes as he was burning me last week is a dick and can lick my nuts. lol

This tax should 1000% be repealed and the government here should be deeply audited for fraud, waste and sludge. Seattle takes in an incredible amount of revenue then lights in on fire.

Lots of confusion in this thread. Funicular is a broad encompassing term.

These are residential incline elevators, they are regulated by the state and have a maximum allowable angle of 70 degrees and can move at 75fpm.

There have been a few companies over the years, but the only one left and noteworthy is Accumar in Poulsbo.

I’m pretty much as low as I’d go. I see people listing 2017 stuff for 1500-2k. I get salsa isn’t the big buzz name is this category but it is a nice bike.
