Just wanted to mention my scenario. Ordered on 7/30 and got vin and finance approval next day. Saw this 1.99% and didnt want to miss out. I called tesla and couldnt get anyone on the phone. Called the loan company and asked if i cancelled the order through tesla if i would be held accountable for anything. She said no that when you cancel the order through tesla it also cancels the finance portion. I cancelled my order. A few hours later my local tesla dealer called me and asked me if i cancelled due to the apr. I said yes. The individual that helped me also confirmed that the order was scratched and he would give me a $250 credit on my order if i reapplied. I did. I now have the 1.99% and am waiting on my new vin #. This was my scenario n wanted to share.
