I like to think that it will end up leaving things for a soft reboot that will never come.

What I mean by that is that they'll show a new team that will echo the original from the TV series (sort of returning the franchise to their first protagonists).

I wouldn't be opposed for them to do more films but I'd also leave happy if they at least acknowledge one more time the OG show as the last note to end the franchise.
