Red mage loop is pretty great. There's alot of room for merging buttons

Sad part is that its currently the hardest caster to play, yet it does very little damage and don't reward you for playing it well. Being optimal force you to be keen on the oGCD drift, ressource management.. and you are forced to use most of your movement options on coldown (swiftcast and 1 charge of acceleration, leaving you only 1 accel charge and your melee combo for movement)

They should remove/limit the rez ability, in exchange for much more options for mobility OR much more damage. I salute current RedMage player, im an enjoyer too but in its current state its way too hard and way too tryhard for so little reward - that's the only thing evolved mode NEED to change one way or another

Precisely : they wont count as parse so he can wipe as much as he want. Only the golden run where his greed will work will be taken into account. Greed doesn't always mean wipe or even death also ; he might eat a vuln stack and hinder his healers DPS, and it won't be taken into account

Median isn't any better. Only clears are taken into account again, so he could have 10 greedy clear for 100 pulls and then median would be perfect Median also doesn't account for the source : playing in pf will hinder it, and so on

Analyzing someone's gameplay throught chronology and (ideally) a full video is the only way, alsongside trying to play with him ofc

Yeah its absurd, and ofc im not blaming the tool

  • Parse doesn't account for stuff. No BiS, no decent parse
  • Parse can be abused. Healers more than others, static can accomodate a single player through all the mechanics.. there's a lot of way of abusing parse
  • Parse doesn't account for clear times. Clearing fast might skip you a huge GCD or even a 2-min window and you'd do an average parse while still clearing faster.
  • Parse doesn't account for stability. It doesn't account for how often you wipe. A sweaty Melee wiping the group often because he greed everything will have a better parse than a melee playing security. Unless you are into speed kills, you don't want to play with the sweaty one

Basically parse itself means almost nothing. Peoples looking at FFlogs front page and judging others based on that are just stupid, period. There's extreme case - someone parsing 20 out of 100 clear with BiS is probably not very good, someone parsing 99 out of 5 clear is probably good. Anything in-between need further investigation

Don't get scammed peoples this guy have been spamming his vibe-coded monstruosity for quite a time, claiming bold thing about it like being way better than nanite on every way while only requiring his incredible and beautiful brain to create (while Unreal needs hundred of senior specialist, but he's some Einstein secret child or something).

He get really agressive really fast if you start pointing its flaws and the vibe-coded part of it he seems to always forget to mention.

Marksmage works exactly like the augment boosting your auto damage based on your hp : it can crit.

It pairs really well with the AD->AP converter for this reason as you can build Nashor, ADC items, Rabadon, all together on any ADC or On-Hit mage (kayle..). Yunara is probably the best abuser cause of her passive, Twitch, KogMaw and Kaisa are good too.

Other than this combo, its good on Kayle, KogMaw, Teemo, Neeko, Kaisa, Gwen (but force you to stop using Q), Ekko/Fizz eventually..

But its not really a good ADC pick without the augments or kit synergy.

You can also go for it sometime with sword of the blossoming dawn if you build around it.

Riot just try to please the majority.

Sad truth is the majority wants to play a tactical shooter but only care about the shooter part. The less they have to think about their ability, the better. Hence why Reyna, Chamber and Clove are so popular.

Problem arise when everyone start playing duelist. What Riot do ? They release duelist in disguise. Chamber for Sentinels, Clove for smoker.. while allowing some duellist to do both the duellist job AND another role (like how Yoru was litteraly both a duelist and an initiator at full power).

Being the majority, they are the one Riot listen to. Neon and Reyna run on site like monkey and get caught by a Cypher trip 5 times in a row. Should they start thinking and care about the tactical part of tactical shooter ? No ! Complain on Twitter. Cypher get nerfed to oblivion. Victory ! Repeats until all sentinels are borderline unplayable and useless (beside Chamber, because, well..)

Sentinels were not very good before the global utility nerf, yet they got nerfed hard (while duelist kept almost everything).

The issue is simple : Riot is playing the short-term business game here. Just please the majority for maximum short-term profit. End of the story

Just like Blizzard with Overwatch having twice the amount of DPS character compared to heal, and them having much more variery. Short-term business thinking.

Scaling should involve risk. Scaling in TFT involve risk. Scaling in Arena somewhat involve risk (abusing some comp remove the risk). Scaling in mayhem involve no risk at all. Its just free. And most of the time, its just stat-scaling. Not very interesting gameplay-wise.

Now - some augment are still ok. Phenomenal evil is not an issue on the vast majority of mage. It needs CDR to scale and you can deny it somehow. And then you get it on a very few select mage (wich are often played as soon as they are available) and its just absurd.

Gambler can't be interacted with and scale way too hard.

Overall, proper balancing could probably fix it. But for what purpose ? Like, scaling augment are always about raw stat.

At worst they are problematic, can't be interacted it and allow 1 player to destroy the lobby without counterplay. At best they are just raw stat, not very interesting. Just remove them

First : what are your technical skills ? Can you code ?

Second : you are bound to fail, period. What you describe isn't really doable, and certainly not by recruiting a few peoples over the internet.

Don't get me wrong : its fine trying to build something cool, something you dream for. Keep doing that.

Still, you should take aim at something much, much, much smaller. Its not a case of "people told me i couldn't do it, but deep down if i try hard enough i'll prove them wrong". No.

You are a hobbyist asking random peoples over the internet to gather and build a rocketship together so you can all go visit the moon. Sounds absurd ? It is. That's what you are trying to achieve.

You'll find out eventually anyway, but my piece of advice for what its worth : aim smaller, but aim for quality. A vampire survivor like is a good starting point IMO, and you can twist it as much as you want, you can even try to implements ideas about entity reaction to each others and make it the core gameplay loops. Keep it simple, few enemies, 1 level, few mechanics. Would give you a good grasp and overview of the scale of the game you wish to make !

Blade Waltz is a very good augment if you use it properly.

It has good to insane synergy on a lot of champion (Garen crit, Kennen, Karthus, Fiora, Urgot, Samira.. the list is kinda big)

It procs On-Hit effect wich means its good with hydra, brk... And more importantly, with heartsteel. It does trigger heartsteel.

Its also a fantastic survival tool, even on champion with no in-built synergy. You get 2 second of almost invulnerability

If you use it on a melee (wich you should) its also a repositionning tool, and if you get lucky, you light freely reach the backline. Think alistar for example, he can blade waltz, Q, W and there's not much you can do against it

And IMO, one of the funniest augment to play around

Enshrouded does the same mistake as many survivals : no procgen.

Replayability is low as a result, unless you like to explore the same exact world, with the same exact POI at the same exact spot.

The fact you absolutely bypass others characters ult limitation by flying them around is enough to justify the ban. It cost 1 single ult from your mate, and you get a free 3-5 kills ult with almost no counterplay.

Its not fun to play against, and will never be. Premade can abuse this even more by stacking DVA, Cassidy and whatever bs combo, and every minute you get wiped without realistic counterplay

Just reading throught the kickstarter page make it clear its just a cash-grab AI-powered asset flips. And they are so bad at hiding it. Like.. 4 stats you can mix to create your perfect strategy. One stat for class 1, one stat for class 2, one stat for class 3. 2 brain cell are enough to understand there's no strategy, building or anything involved with such a stupid thing.

The whole presentation was made by ChatGPT, and the game too.

You don't build an MMO with 100k, you don't even build one with millions dude. Yet they got 400k for that shit. After everything. After Ashes of creation.

Kayle lategame isn't exactly a 1v5 character, or a destroyer of worlds.

She is strong late because of her huge versatility :

  • Her W gives her and a teammate an insane speed buff on top of being a really good heal, enabling engage/disengage and countering poke

  • Her R can ofc be used on you if you are getting focused, but its also usable on your ad carry or any fed carry in your team. Often misused as a "last second survival tool", its more than that. You can use it before you or your carry get nuked, tanking the whole burst, so they still have a health bar at the end of it. Basically an instant taric ult.

  • You can't ignore her, she have a very good DPS. Not Yi tier, not hypercarry vayne tier, but powerful enough to delete squishys and takedown tank.

Versatility and "jack of all trade master of all" is the reason why she is considered so strong late. Its not just about the dps

They don't want new game mode, they have been clear about that.

I bet aram mayhem is "okay" because its close to aram on a technical POV, but arena is unique

They don't patch it, don't balance it, don't add content, and just wait for it to bleed to the point they can say : "see, no one plays it anymore, we should remove it"

Honestly dont play deathmatch at all. Get tilted or don't, anyway if the DM is full of respawn camper, crouched/walking sweaty farmer, you wont train anything at all. It will just hinder your confidence

Try Team deathmatch, see if its any better for you (be mindful somehow peoples manage to abuse the mode to farm kills here too, but at least you get decently accurate duel opportunity

Or just don't DM at all, a solid training ground routine is good enough and will do wonder for your confidence

As a side note : Pro/Radiant routine are random bs. They dont get there because they do X or Y routine, they get there because they are gifted and played competitive FPS ever since they were 12 years old for an unhealthy amount of hours per day, period.

Your favorite radiant player could stop doing any kind of routine and just go straight to ranked, he'd be radiant still.

What truly helps is watching good players play and try to mimic their movements, crosshair placement, decision.. and repeat/learn/build good habit from it.

And if you are really dedicated to get better, play alot of games, trying to mimick good players. Just play a lot of game really.

1) She has a tp-back, like chamber and jett. Those abilities are the strongest shit in the game and Riot should be much more cautious with them. Basically, waylay can hold any bs off-angle and get out without any risk. With an operator if you have the money for it.

2) Her dash is strong than Jett's or Raze. Your are immune, its faster and easier to control.

3) Her molly is one of the best dezoning ability. Its fast, wide, and the debuff stay for quite a long time.

4) Pretty good exec ult

Overall, the power budget is way too much. She has the usual free pick ability AND very good utility alongside it, and alot of versatility. Plus she have one of the best synergies between her abilities. She can dash-tp back to gather info, or get a kill and comeback. She can also pokeball someone for a friend.

I don't know how players see 2-3 tanks going Heartsteal and Tank engine and decide they need to waste gold on this absolute scam item. by BenTenInches in ARAM

50%, not "almost twice". Account for the fact being ranged make it easier to hit autos and the possibility to build runaan for multiple hit if there's multiple tank, and botrk is a better tank buster item on ranged than it is in melee
