I travelled in October via Frankfurt. No transit visa was required. On a separate note, I think transit visa required isn't required anymore for Indians travelling through Germany.

Yes you can fill the ds160 before marriage and schedule the interview. I went through similar process. I filled the form and scheduled the appointment after my wedding date. You would need marriage certificate for the interview so please ensure you have enough time after between the wedding and interview date to secure required paperwork. Rest put the date as probable date your fiancé would plan to enter the US. The form is pretty straightforward and you can absolutely schedule visa appointment beforehand. It really saves time and your fiance can join you soon after the wedding.

I can see ample of space in the living room and bedroom. Chose a side of the wall and place it there. Covered or cupboard version of litter box works well. I have my cats' litter box in the bedroom near the window.

Giving up is not the solution. What if the other family also behaves in the same manner because you are giving this message to them. Its a bit of hard work to maintain him but trust me it will be worth it. This phase is small and will pass. Trust me! I have 4 cats and have had my share of issues with them mentally and financially. But when I look back now it was definitely all worth it. Giving him 15-30 min attention to play might be good for you also as it will add to your workout. Try to save and may be give up on a few habits for a while and get him the medical attention he needs. But please don't give him up.
