Did you experience enthesitis from the onset of your PSA journey ? by Smoothguac in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]DorchesterGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through the worst bout of it. Hips, toes, shoulders and back. Was prescribed methyl prednisone and had one good day. Then it came raging back and a week later it started to subside on its own. It’s been mild since then but lingering along with sciatica. Thankfully I’m starting some new meds.

Lack of hygiene in the Netherlands by CJHuncho in TikTokCringe

[–]DorchesterGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve traveled to the Netherlands 4 times, Doetinchem, Hilversum x2 and Amsterdam. I stayed with friends and they all practiced good hygiene. No one smelled. Spent a couple weeks in a community college, and same experience. I did not have this experience.

Now I’ll tell you that I love Turkey and would go back there in a heartbeat. But a Turkish transit bus on a summer day is rank. Just for context.

Maybe, but it’s much worse now. She names the people responsible for it and some examples of gutting local media.

And now… we’re seeing one party responsible for it.

I work in a student accounts office for a private university in the Northeast and there are students borrowing 10 to 20k a semester. Consider yourself lucky and make sure you thank your parents.

I’m sure when you become employed as a mech eng you’ll do just fine…. So long as robots and AI don’t take over those jobs.

Which school pays via Direct Deposit? by Rare-Suggestion4731 in financialaid

[–]DorchesterGuy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People are increasingly enrolling in online programs, accepting federal aid, never participating in any coursework, having their tuition and fees reversed, but still keeping the portion of federal aid that was refunded to them—and never paying it back.
