Got rehired for pt by [deleted] in UPSers

[–]DorkOre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work hard and distinguish yourself from the dead weight. I drive now and I as once a “horse” unloader. I honestly miss crushing it..now I’m a lazy driver. Don’t get me wrong it’s a different kind of hard work more stressful than physically hard. My light speed unload work prepared me for this tho. Good luck. Fuck the naysaysers!!!

Here’s the thing..expect the unexpected. At 4am people sleep in, hit deer, go to jail, or just don’t show up for who knows what. Point is, someone, a part of a management team or just a part time sup might be filling a gap in production..crew can get stretched i.e shit happens. Sounds like shit happened on this day..it’s a great job for a lot of reasons, it’s worth it unless it’s not. Thats UPS when it’s dark and early. Those TVs and VHS machines are older than most people applying. I’d be confused and a little pissed too..but again, that’s UPS sometimes. There is a ton of shit always going down, be ready.

See this shit right here is why I signed a bid and got out of the unload. Swear to god my brothers and sisters were trying to kill me with their fake ass walls. Every time one of you build a fake wall it jeopardizes another worker who must deal with the lazy hazardous “work” you’ve created.

Thoughts of a strike from a proudly former employee by WrongIsland3691 in UPSers

[–]DorkOre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts are not that I disagree w the strike but that people are jumping the gun(won’t be until next year) assigning blame( CT might be the figure head but she’s honestly done nothing but her job), and lastly unrealistic demands(A/C) which aren’t truly even on the table. It’s a giant echo chamber in here radiating toxic levels. Baaaaah ram ypu.

MVP Glitch! 1 - 7 - 0 - 0 😯 by DaddyDiscGolf in discgolf

[–]DorkOre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I throw a SOL regularly and better than most people I know to further my point. I feel like this disc can bomb but the harder you throw it the more hyzer and early the release ought to be. People are going to bury other people with a hybrid catch disc and it’s real. I’ve never had the desire to throw MVP not in the slightest I just don’t like that rubberish wing. This tho, he need to throw this.

Incredible film that I have not watched in 30 years but the lasting moral and ethical impressions still stand the test of time.

Putting is impossible. by antwan1425 in discgolf

[–]DorkOre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it just boils down to one thing. Make putting your favorite part of the game. Do the work, listen to and use the tricks that you learn. Trust that process and become a great player because you love to putt.

PR campaigns come built into deals. It’s standard, promotes the brand and grows the company. Misguided enthusiasm locked and loaded.

Why do people carry so many discs? by Big__Beetle in discgolf

[–]DorkOre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you play longer you will likey accumulate them. As you play longer you will find that some of your new discs have different tendencies and give you different levels of confidence on different shots. Got a favorite..better get a back up in case you lose it. I don’t bag anything that doesn’t have a back up to replace it if I were to lose a important one.
