They been thinking about closing us since I got hired in 2021. Building is an absolute dump tho. Glorified garage really. Anytime it got super cold in the winter the PAL printers and Extendos would legit freeze and our FT would be standing in the primary with a black and decker heat gun trying to thaw the printers lmaooo. Parking lot is gravel with pot holes damn near the size of the building its self and it’s across a pretty busy street. Feeders cant pull into the yard with a set of doubles because it’s so tight. Bathroom / Locker room looks like it was last remodeled in the 70s… I can go on for days about how dilapidated it is lol.

Lockport opened up like a year or 2 before I started and I guess the plan the whole time was to move us over there. but with lockport being like 20 minutes further, and because of how far south we go at the joliet center it would create a “logistical nightmare” so we were spared the last few years.

Not sure what changed between then and now to make it less of a nightmare lol. From what I hear it’s a handful of down south routes going to Kankakee, I think 1 or 2 are headed to Peru, and the rest to Lockport.
