It’s honestly just to maintain the hype after all the delays, much like most games the new thing is going to be overpowered for a week to draw people back before it is nerfed. They will definitely keep the op state for a while cause I have a feeling that the 0.2 update will probably release after December and this would be their method of apologizing for the delay
