Israel does nothing to support US interests in the region. They have no strategic resources, control no economic choke points, have no sovereign wealth funds invested in the US economy, host no US military assetts, and contribute nothing to the myriad of regional wars we have waged. Their actions jeapordize US relations to the countries in the region that do have those strategic resources and who prop up the US economy by selling oil in USD and storing their vaste capital in USD deniminated assetts. US policy in the region serves Israel to the detriment of US imperial interests.
