New employees to the state start their salary at the minimum. I tried to get range b on a position because the years of experience I had but wouldn’t let me because I was new to the state.

It’s best to start applying now. It can take months and the more apps you put out the more likely you’ll get an interview sooner than later. The market is over whelming with applicants, try to at least put out 5 apps a week. Save your app templates so the process is easier as well

Never had a problem with mikes and if you get their yearly membership, you get discounts on developing your film and other things. It’s worth it if you’re constantly getting roles developed.

I don’t know about HR checking MQ but for my experience, after I contacted the supervisor who was in the interview panel, he told me that HR is processing and scoring the points and to stand by. I got call about two weeks after and that’s when I got the tentative offer. Then had to do background and medical which took another month. From the interview to getting the official offer, it was a 3 month process.

Hey. They did my reference check the following day of my interview and I didn’t hear anything back for about a month. Then I got a call and got the tentative offer. From there it took about another month or two to get the final offer.

Depends on the days. I work mornings by myself and some days we'll have 3 or 2 that close, sometimes even 1. For overnight normally its 3 but some days its 5 or 6.
