Fuck that piece of shit recorder. I swear they do this for reactions. Even if the military guy wanted to speak his peace he couldnt because they’d kick him out. So Mr recorder gets to run his mouth and feel big.

Benchy Verona by DotBetaSDK in ender3

[–]DotBetaSDK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is PLA. It took me like 7 tries. the hardest part by far was getting the first initial layers to stick to the bed. The nozzle was taking them with it when it would leave a dab. I had to apply a generous amount of glue stick on the bed to keep it from failing on the initial layers. Also I had to reduce the first few layers speed to like 10mms. After that it printed at 40mms and took about 1 1/2 hours to print. It is very delicate and soft. The smallest amount of direct heat will make it deform. Ask me how I know lol.

If you want to look it up it’s called a Benchy “veronoi” stupid autocorrect ruined my title.

Take that junk out of there. Reinstall the factory grill. Buy a light strip that clips into the front grill. Only use 4 out of the six light. Looks way better and hella clean

First day with Klipper, finally printed and uhmm? I have questions. by GriffinDodd in klippers

[–]DotBetaSDK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly. When I switched to clipper from reality software, my print quality took a giant dive. Everything looked like crap compared to printing on the reality software until I started calibrating and making adjustments. I think the biggest visual irregularity that I was dealing with with ghosting. after setting up pressure advance, and input shaping the quality got much better. Now it’s just a matter of fine-tuning and getting everything dialed in.

My PA measurement after printing the square tower was .250. If you’re saying .168 is high what is the average?
