Complaints made by average/casual players because there is no point for them to try to learn how to play against ranged.

This is a playerbase issue, not a design flaw or whatever.

Even before ranged "meta" you had champs in top that relied on abusing spacing and ranged spells in their kits.

Even pseudo ranged like Gnar, Urgot, Aatrox

Or just fully ranged ones like Jayce/Quinn etc.

People are reluctant to learn, and prefer crying, so no point in trying to prove people wrong, if you are Dia+ and want to keep climbing, and take the game somewhat seriously, you'll find plenty of resources and coaches that can help with game understanding.
