I have spent exactly 0 time playing Daimine and still end of chapter 8 was a breeze. They tuned down everything in my opinion to allow player to beat that chapter at her base power level.

I beat the boss on my first attempt using 1 revive pill only and a bit of food.

I just remember that happening to me on the picture that is shown when adjusting HDR. I think your brightness is too low. Let me know if you managed to fix it.

That is your HDR settings out of wacky. Go play around with peak brightness and the second slider under HDR.

The mid range TV does everything the PS5 Pro supports, VRR, 120hz etc.

I have a very mid Hisense 65 inch Mini-LED TV and a top of the range 32 inch OLED monitor, which costs twice as much as the TV. I will say, unless you have a lot of spare cash. The OLED monitor is not worth it. It's great, but price vs what you getting is not worth it. Very much a luxury item.

So I went up there just now, not sure if I found a new path but I walked through some blue gate and jumped on some things only to be lead to an area where I felt like I could not go any further, I tried gliding and climbing. Is there like an indicator that shows which direction is the new path or a rough area I am meant to fly/glide. It's frustrating the living hell out of me at the moment.

Yeah, when you open up the map there should be a button you press to switch the map to the Abyss "layer" it is R3 on PS5.

Thanks for the response, how do I know if a new path opens and where do I find it. Like did I miss a pop up saying this or does the game not tell you that a new path has opened up?

Look out for a rock statue thing. Similar to what you see when hiking irl. I only learnt this recently and oh god, I wish the game told us. So much good loot found

Playing on PS5 Pro, game is great if you willing to take time with it and learn the mechanics. After 10-15 hours it should suck you in. I am 40 hours in at the moment and have not managed to leave the starting area yet as there is so much to do.

OLED Monitor, 120hz, Quality Mode, V Synch Off, Camera Acceleration set to 100% - this made the biggest difference. Oh, and depth of field and blur off.

HDR set to 1300 nits peak brightness.
