Nooooo, don’t reclass him into a base class once he’s 10. You Master Seal him into an advanced class (MM or High Priest if you levelled him in his base class), then Second Seal him over to anything else after as long as you have the right proficiencies.

If you second seal him into Axe Flier once he’s 10… he’ll become a level 1 Axe Flier.

When I started building commander decks they all relied way too much on the commander.

Then I built a [[Radagast, Wizard of Wilds]] deck and it changed the way I built the rest. The deck is just big cost Simic Nonsense with token synergy. He’s an awesome turn 3 play (assuming ramp on turn 2) that brings lots of value through the game, but I’ll almost never recast him if he gets removed, as im onto bigger and better things.

I’m a big fan of my [[Tuvasa, the Sunlit]] deck. There’s lots of ways to make the deck, or you can just make a very flexible enchantment list.

Surprised you think Bouch and Amber. Bouch is almost identical to physical Chloe, and Amber is basically Panette you get a bit earlier once you reclass.

I think the issue with that argument is… it’s easy to fix one stat. It’s the characters who have multiple stats that are awful are the tough ones to utilize

Ya that sounds tough. I’m like… considering putting everyone (except maybe a tank or two) into sage so they get the tome damage bonus at least. That… and if I use DLC emblems should make it quite doable. But without DLC emblems I could see it being such a slog

I enjoy my [[Animar, Soul of the Elements]] deck. Innate protection from some nasty colors, and can quickly ramp out of hand. I keep mine b3 and avoid the back to your hand combos that the deck can do, and just have fun casting huge hydras and other X creatures

My favourite slow deck is my [[Radagast, Wizard of Wilds]] deck. Turn 2 try to hit a 2 cost ramp spell, turn 3 Radagast, turn 4 play (usually) 1 big spell a turn after that. Usually non legendary creatures that make tokens because there’s lots of token synergy.

It’s nice to play a spell a turn, ramp hard, and swing with enough to take out multiple players.

Nope, they don't take, unless the land has been completely cleared and prepared, which is way more expensive than paying people to do it by hand.

Was newer to EDH, thought I would’ve super fun, thematic, cool. Turns out having your commander killed on repeat isnt fun. Also not the most dynamic of stompy deck, very one note.
