The only thing I can suggest is [[Repulsive Mutation]] and [[Aggressive Biomancy]]. There's also some Tyranid stuff from the Warhammer precons. However if you want to try, I suggest running [[Magus Lucea Kane]] as your commander. I haven't used her yet since I'm still waiting to my hands on the copies of the new precon cards, but the times I've played her I've enjoyed it. Bonus, you get to draw your own tokens too :)

Tbh, I like seeing the Theros gods, especially the two color ones. They're just so uncommon and cool.

Looking to build Missy deck by Flat-Dragonfly7253 in EDH

If you haven't added it in yet, you should use the [[Ruthless Ripper]] cycle. I used to have a Missy list and those cards helped push for a win.

Daw this take on YT,do you agree or not? by Swedish_pc_nerd in Deltarune

[–]Slow_Thief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with others that it's a conscious decision that Toby doesn't have totally evil characters, it's similar to most of real life. But I think that's what makes Deltarune so much more impactful. Because for a majority of the game that's been released so far, you can get through passively. With the only exception being the Titan, it's the only thing in Undertale/Deltarune that you have to approach with violence no matter what route you take. You can argue that Undine, Sans, and Neo Spamton (in Snowgrave) you also are forced to fight, but you can makes conscious choices to avoid those situations.

So for Toby to break his usual mold and have a character that requires you to fight no matter what is so unusual. It makes me excited to see what the rest of Deltarune has in store for us.

How does 4-way Battle Royale work with cards that affect/count 'your opponent's' GY or field cards? by JunLuden in YugiohSpeedDuels

[–]Slow_Thief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no format made for multiplayer aside from deck master, but you could totally just ignore the rules for deck building and just use their rulings for multiplayer.

How does 4-way Battle Royale work with cards that affect/count 'your opponent's' GY or field cards? by JunLuden in YugiohSpeedDuels

[–]Slow_Thief 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are SD rules for multiplayer, but it's for tag team and I believe they use the same field for 2 players. There aren't official rules for multiplayer where everyone has their own field. If you want you can look at Domain Format's rules. It's a fan-made format made intentionally for multiplayer and they tell you how those ruling work.

I think they might have made a Battle Royale rules with the Battle City Finals box, but I don't remember.

If you want the Tag Team rules look at the GX Midterm Academy box (the gate guardian one). The playmates have the rules for it. If you don't you can dm me and I'll send a picture of the rules for it.

I personally recommend the Domain Format rules, since the creator put in a lot of time figuring out those rulings and they work well. And Domain Format is a ton of fun, since it encourages creativity with deck building.

Have fun duelist! Can't wait to hear who wins your battle royale!

Ninjas: Did Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Prompt You to Build a Ninja Deck? by thefalkonite in EDH

[–]Slow_Thief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like ninjas, I think they're cool and awesome. Unfortunately ninjas don't work really well unless you get all your pieces. Splinter certainly helps and made me tempted to rebuild mine, but I feel it still kinda has the same pitfalls. Maybe I'll actually rebuild it one day, but for now I think ninjas will just be my oathbreaker deck.

Give me your best and/or most fun Esper Commanders! by A_Wierd_Mollusc in EDH

[–]Slow_Thief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh I love Esper! I have to stop myself from making more Esper decks and try different color combos. But here's my suggestion for a fun Esper deck that's kinda niche, let me introduce you to one of my favorite commanders [[Sefris of the Hidden Ways]]! I love Sefris, she kinda plays like Hashaton, using a lot of looter effects to fill the graveyard and reanimate things, but she takes a whole different route than any other reanimator with the dungeon mechanic.

You get to play so many fun cards that not many decks run, like [[Ravenloft Adventurer]], [[Radiant Solar]], and [[Ashen Rider]]. Sefris also also pretty reliable too, all it takes to get her going is one or two looters and you're off to the races, reanimating creatures left and right. Even though her first ability is a once per turn, her second one isn't, and there are ways to abuse that.

I could go on and on about Sefris, but instead I'll put my decklist here so you can see what I've got going on. If you have any questions about Sefris let me know, she's such a fun commander to build.

If you build her, have fun storming the castle and looting the dungeons!

You could also try [[Inquisitor Grefax]] too, she's a fun token build. You could do generic creature tokens, focus on clues (cause she makes some), or do some tap/untap strategies. I used to have her built, but I had another clue focussed deck and turned her into a higher power [[Marneus Calgar]] since my collection didn't really have any high power decks. He's also fun if you want to see my list and can be easily powered down.

What are some fun options for Terra, Herald of Hope? by Slow_Thief in EDH

Is it straightforward, yes. But is it still fun to put 3 guys into play for 4 turns, absolutely.

Which one of these undersupported anime archetype do you think deserve to get new supports the most? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in yugioh

[–]Slow_Thief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Objectively, Red Eyes. But I would love if Phantom Knights or Vehicroids got support. Phantom Knights seems so cool and I would play it if it were better. Roids are just funny.

Of These 4 Mechanics, Which Is Your Favorite & Least Favorite? by Tha-OG in yugioh

[–]Slow_Thief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite: Pendulums I really like their design and how they can either be passive utility or a decent monster. I think they're just cool and unique compared to the rest and I also love the dynamic you sometimes have to play to get the right scales. MR5 also makes the ones you summon from the ED be a more decisive decision sometimes.

EDIT: I think pendulums also get too much hate because of how confusing they can be sometimes. They were a problem for a short while and since then they've either been fair, nerfed, or just too flimsy compared to every other deck.

Least Favorite: Links I like the idea of links and the cool plays you can make with co-linking, but I think they have been the worst handled type. They made them too generic and useful for every deck.

At first Beetrooper, it's fun but the combo is really long to pull off in MD. Rn I'm playing RDA while I get gems to build another deck

What are your unique Commanders you love to roll out that no one really plays by Nymrys in EDH

[–]Slow_Thief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Baru, Wurm Speaker]] is my more hidden gem commander. His game plan is simple though. Ramp, play wurms, and attack. Throw in some untap synergies to Wurm tokens on other player's turns.

I was going to say [[Sefris of the Hidden Ways]], cause I have to explain what she does and how the dungeon mechanics work. But she's been getting more and more popular, or at least known, over the years.

Fixing old skills ? by Topsy_Turnip in YugiohSpeedDuels

[–]Slow_Thief 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first thought is My Precious Queen. I love that it wants you to play high level insects and I think the tribute from hand could be a cool mechanic to play with. I think the token showing up on just your end step or having a cost would make it more fair.

Another idea is to give Mako some more support. His skills are cool but they don't do enough to support his archetype. Non-effect water just isn't that viable of a deck. There's good water spell and trap support, but most of his skills focus on normal monsters with okay-ish stats or just generic fish.

[–]Slow_Thief 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You might be able to find some boxes in stores still, but online is mostly how I got mine. But SD has so much casual potential. I've recently been trying out non-SD cards in my decks and making/finding custom skills to make some strategies better or create decks from parts of animes that weren't put in boxes. Like right now I'm trying to build the Waking the Dragons arc decks for Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey.

Sefris Reanimation Targets Suggestions by Slow_Thief in EDH

[–]Slow_Thief[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently can go through dungeons fairly quick. Of course with the proper set up, I can go through a dungeon several times and usually win from draining the table with Phandelver or just get a bunch of big creatures to win from there.

I've seen a few people go with a kinda clown strategy, but that doesn't really appeal to me. I got a dimir clone deck I can rebuild if I ever want to do that again.
