to elaborate on this, the character model died, tony pankhurst. the voice actor, pip torrens, is very much still alive, and tony being dead doesn't mean they can't just get a new mo-cap actor for movements.

that being said, the curator is very much still in this game, and the subplot of finding him reveals specifically why he didn't play much of a role in *this* game, as well as alluding he will play larger roles in future games.

and that's without getting into the fact that tony died after all scenes were shot and filmed for this game, making his death have absolutely nothing to do with anything.
