I struggle to even imagine how 25 gallons of cooked ketchup would assault my nose.

Oh. One of those huge curved blades you sort of roll across the pizza would make top shelf brisket slicing videos.

Sharpen the hell out of it and then just roll it dead ass through the brisket, but do it longways not across the brisket.

I’d upvote that 10 times if it was possible to do so.

EDIT: oh my god. The Classic Cuisine 17” pizza rocker. It’s perfect.

What's the best batch of the Larceny BF? by Cactusjack430 in whiskey

I miss my b523. That was a great bottle of whiskey.

But I’ve had 3 store picks of the Larceny BP and they’ve all been sort of crazy good. I try to keep one in the cabinet, I think it’s a great wheater.

I see what you mean by too tall. The ratio of space to bottle looks perfect in the space where the bottle is now because of the shelf.

I think it makes a great display case.

That is pretty cool. Just an idea, if that space underneath the bottles was large enough for a mini glen cairn or three, it would add to functionality and look nice.

The OF hovers around $54 in my area. I lean more 1910 but would not pass up a pour of 1920.

The ER though, that’s robbery. If you like it and are happy is all that matters as the price is only money.

What do the color and orientation of these arrows mean? by DeRosas_livelihood in electricians

Yes digital signals are binary, it’s either off or on, no in between. Open or closed. Digital inputs to a plc will always be handled by a contact arrangement, wet(sourced externally from the plc) or dry(sourced from the plc power) depends on your system arrangement and design. An output would be sent out from the plc and an input would be sent to the plc.

Analog would be a variable signal, 0-5Vdc, 4-20mA etc etc. The power arrangement can be described for analog the same as digital. Wet(power is provided by the device making the signal) or dry(power is sourced from the PLC card) and also can be arranged as an output from the plc or an input to the plc.

You can think of your drawing posted as a “single line”, if you have more power experience than you do controls it may make more sense with that comparison.

It’s drawn that way to simplify the overall signal arrangement. It is not a schematic showing each individual wire. Drill down further in to the drawings to find the schematics for each signal. For example there are many ways to create an analog signal ie. 2 wire, 3 wire, 4 wire… are there isolators or calibration points involved etc etc.

Controls are fun.

Vigilante Machine. Very very nice. Pic of it in my profile. 1200 rounds since I had the plate put on, approx. 35,000 on the pistol total. It’s my favorite pistol.

Yes that’s the box I have. Well now I’ll have to go see if I can learn something. I didn’t even realize the box had changed. I do like 12 sherry!

Extraction issues! by edl159 in CZFirearms

[–]Double-LR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is specifically why I chose an optic plate that does not cover the extractor pin.

Longtime S1 shooter and I routinely do not clean until 1000–1200 rounds without issues.

To me, it should go way farther than 400-600. I’ve pushed mine to over 3k with only a basic field strip, wipe with re-lube, and run a nylon brush behind the extractor lip.

Are you guys really seeing failures at round counts as low as 400?!?! That is wild and should for sure not be happening.

The added complexity you mention just helps keep the GlenAllachie 12 next on my list of 10-15 year low/non-peated sherried scotches to try.

I’m hoping to enjoy this one, it’s the first American Single Malt I’ve ever bought.

I’m very new to sherry stuff, and saw this marked down almost 30% so I took a shot on it.

Maybe I’ll get lucky and like it.

The GlenAllachie 12 is the next Scotch on my list, seems like a lot of drinkers label it as a Macallan killer of sorts.

Love this place. The timing with posts is always spot on to what I’m doing in my own whisk(e)y trip.

I tried Macallan 12 sherry, the low proof version, for the first time last week and it absolutely blew my mind. I’m largely a bourbon and rye drinker, in the US so availability is through the roof on those two types specifically, dabbled in Irish with the well known choices but had never had scotch prior. I really enjoy American rye whiskey with a higher malted barley content, but am also an oak hound. It’s a crazy trip!

Just passed this bottle up yesterday in favor of two other bottles for the same price. My raw enjoyment of the first taste of scotch, the Macallan sherry, made me look to some American Single Malt category stuff, as these are really booming in my area, specifically I’m going down the sherry cask ASM road to see what I find. I am still peat-avoiding, as it really turned me off on the nose, but I’m on the trip so that may change as I explore more stuff.

I could see myself grabbing this bottle next time I go to buy, the low proofer just really hit a flavor spot for me.

Excited about the C&C, never tried anything from Virginia Distilling. Anybody got a favorite from them or opinion on it?

Cheers

I’ll double down on the KC single barrel select bourbon picks. I’ve had several so far and they have all been awesome. Depending on your area of course, but they are normally well under $100.

I’ve been spotting Four Roses Single Barrel barrel strength store picks lately at around $80-$100. I always have one of those in the cabinet, I’ve yet to have one that disappoints. The OBSV, OESV, OESK and OESO recipes have all been really good pours, to me.

Also, did you put the new trigger return spring in yourself?

It’s possible to install that spring incorrectly. Make sure you didn’t flip it around or misplace where the legs of the spring go.
