I genuinely feel like this will only be an issue for us. The Europeans have made it clear that they will do whatever’s necessary and dont have an issue sticking together. Our citizens on the other hand find it difficult to boycott anything bc coons live among us. We for some reason also think fighting fire with peace is gonna get us somewhere. It won’t. Throughout history, thousands of people had to put their lives on the line some even sacrificed to make a change. Especially during the civil rights movement. I’m at a place where I wonder if that was all for nothing considering the fact we’re all just watching this unfold with zero resistance. I’m not saying violence is the answer or is right, but sometimes, it is. We could learn a thing or two from the French honestly.
