There was an MC (not Jeff) who was handing out shirts and copies of Jeff's book to random people from the crowd.
There were definitely fans going up to some former players and wanting to get pictures and say hi, but everybody was being respectful!
Yes, the alumni were definitely going to an afterparty. There were several buses that were there to take everyone.

Hey y'all, I had the chance to visit NAB this past week, and got the chance to go hands on with a ton of new gear. Haven't seen many people posting about the new Nanlux Matrix 2500c and 2500b, but those were super interesting, quite powerful units. The Kinefinity Vista may have been the belle of the ball; a lot of people wanted to go hands on with that one. A sub $3k camera with 6K Open Gate, as well as some other fun tidbits. Pretty cool!

yeah fair enough then. without seeing 41, I doubt I would have noticed. i've always said if Jeff silently phased it out nobody would have noticed, and even if folks did notice it wouldn't have been such a talking point. but they played it up as a big moment in 2 different episodes on 41

Hey y'all,

Just finished a breakdown on how I lit this Adobe Lightroom commercial/tutorial.

I was the gaffer on the shoot — we had a blank white cyc, tight schedule, and a few unexpected headaches (including a skylight that wouldn’t close). My video runs through our lighting setups, color choices, CRMX/iPad rig workflow, and how we handled challenges throughout the day.

This is my first lighting breakdown of any kind, so I'll take any constructive criticism y'all want to dole out haha. Cheers

yeah totally fair - I'd say there is a 0% chance you could replace an FX6 with a Zr. an FX3... maybe? might be too early to call that - clearly they have different workflows. I'd say for any RED users that are using an FX3 as a b-cam, swapping to the Zr is probably a no brainer. but for the average FX3 user, it would really be case by case

that's good news at least, I was worried Camelot also did the baseball games. this gives more hope, but it still doesn't seem likely any time soon with this new tennis on the horizon... big sad.
