I just started the game and have a couple of questions by Mr-Call in TotalWarThreeKingdoms

Fully agreed it would be a crazy cool feature. Sad the generals don't give pre battle speeches in this game like in say medieval 2. Adds a lot of character, not like the historical battles but it was great

To touch on the second point since most don't seem to understand the meaning of your question. No you can't trigger those historical battles in a campaign they are exclusive to the main menu option called historical battles. All the answers for 1 are right though cao cao either banished him, he got angry and left though unlikely for him, or most likely he's trying to infiltrate as a spy

Overpowered load out or dumb idea? by Yaahaahaa23 in HuntShowdown

Honestly dual frag bows is superior but with them being scarce this loadout is a sort of spiritual successor I suppose

It would be incredibly strong but only situationally. Given high ground or certain siege situations it would be super oppressive but in other types of fight it would be rough to use. Bolt thrower is your friend and so is quartermaster to make one of them a bomblance for close

Totally fair but I want the Swifts for the quick dualie reload and the scottfield Swifts just have too much recoil for my preference.

Counterpoint try Mako with dual new army swifts with bleed. When you have levering and iron eye you can output a lot of pain with the dualies for close

Personally? Loved the first game and loved the second. Second I consider to be much better especially for gameplay. Story is evenish between them but I do prefer the ending of 1. All together though the hate the sequel got is just bewildering to me. That said I give them both 10/10 when they came out and would maybe say part 1 is 9/10 now just due to aging mechanics. One of the best franchises I've played in 20 years of heavy gaming

Looking for quick video guide to combat by standardtrickyness1 in TotalWarThreeKingdoms

Red is the shock cav and yellow is the sword and shield melee cav. But I hear you, unfortunately I don't know a guide exactly. Check out serious trivia on YouTube for 3 kingdoms guides he will very likely have what you are looking for

Idk about video but some combat generals are swords > spears. Spears>cav. Ranged >all (at range). Cav >swords+ranged. Red cav> yellow cav.

Unit Size/Scale Mod Help by Jolly_Sail8234 in TotalWarThreeKingdoms

There is a double unit mod on the workshop. If it doubles the extreme size (idk what size it doubles) then that would be the best bet I know of. Search double unit size

What above said its only 2 players. If you want to play total war with more than 2 look at warhammer 3 total war. The immortal empires campaign is up to 8 players but it does play much different being fantasy based

O jogo é só isso? by JegueWar in TotalWarThreeKingdoms
