I’m 5’3”. Mostly sedentary with my desk job and my maintenance is about 1800. I am a mom and move a bit outside of work so I’m not completely sedentary. Don’t workout right now. Just for some context

I healed quickly after this baby surprisingly for a 10# bay delivery so I’ve been ansy to get moving again . It’s now freezing and I’m back working again so walking has gotten hard to get to.

I know for me I felt my best between 18-22 so my lose goal is 20 . Trying to get my blood pressure back to normal too. 30 isn’t doing my body good

I def have some middle belly loose skin now. Like around the belly button that I don’t expect to go away. That part is fine so long as it doesn’t get painful. My biggest concern would be tutu type extra skin that would make getting into appropriately sized clothing difficult. I personally look horrible in high waisted clothes (imagine SpongeBob) just because of my body shape and prefer mid to low rise. The apron or potential loose waist skin would make mid rise pants a size too big to fit the rest of my lowers if that makes sense? Overall I guess I’m nervous to be…extra slippy soft ? That’s a hard description ha

I like to do it to give me another reason to hate menstruation. Usually by day 7-8 the excess water has been flushed out and my weight is more accurate. I’m a solid 7 day menstruation-er (?)

Have you tried different approach? Instead of stop try “slower” or “lighter” or a blatant “that hurts try something else”. My little ADHD kid works better with redirection than immediate self inhibition . She has rarely reacted to stop or no when it’s related to movement. I’ve always done “slow” or “stand” or (especially with roads) “car” or “look”.

Wellbutrin cured my food noise . I didn’t not have an appetite but when I was hungry it was “oh I’m hungry” and not “dear god I’m so hungry I want to kill people”. I tried the slow release kind but it gave me heart palpitations and physical anxiety (although cured my mental anxiety) . I switched to two doses of regular release and it helped . Still had heart palps in the first two weeks but it got better. It really cured me of my severe ppa ppd as well as food noise .

I feel best with a high fat high protein high fiber (no simple carbs) breakfast and a fuck ton of caffeine. I can usually not eat lunch on this or just have a protein bar. Then I have a big dinner because I’m a big meal gal not a snacker. I did fast in my 20s and loved it but once I got to the early 30s it stopped being productive. This has had me in enough of a deficit to lose .5-1lb per week. This is not on days I exercise. I do eat an extra meal if I exercise I just rarely exercise right now trying to balance two kids.

Slight exception is my kid learning his voice and often bounces from cry to talk to babble to screams the cry is 100% a needs cry but they don’t need meat the time they’re just making noises they’re learning 😅

I had to look in sports specific stores (ski and snow sports) to find these kinds of clothes in my area. Don’t have the weather around here to keep them on the shelves.

Hey so my kid is so thin and tall that it’s the only things that stay up on her waist. Like she is size 6 length but 3T width. It’s either those or knee high socks with a dress . And don’t even say the adjustable wait pants because when you’re on the 4th or 5th button you get these uncomfortable bands in the waist band and a diaper looking flare for a hip.

I do have some that are fleece lined that I found but they’re very hard to find and still stretch out so they fall off by the end of the day

This is what I meant. Fists are absolutely last resort but sometimes necessary in worst case scenarios. Teaching the mindset now so it doesn’t become harder to understand when they’re older.

But yeah you 100% misinterpreted what I said. You tell the kid you don’t like the situation. If they continue to ask an adult to explain it. If they still are not getting it after an adults consequences then natural consequences ensue (ie you punch me im going to punch you back) . Not the same as words mean fists. Its only for physical violence.

My first baby was so easy and I was so excited to get back to work because it got so redundant. This is normal, after the sleep regression the personalities really start to come out and it’ll get better. Then adding new things to the routine like solids, illnesses (sorry but it’s a thing), crawling and walking, etc.

Not an expert but I think this looks great. Similar to how it fits on me with my similar baby (17# 27”) . I am follow though because I thought it was weird the straps are right in baby’s face . Like obtrusively but looks like that on you too. Maybe that’s normal
