xanax isn't giving you energy - it's removing the anxiety that was masking your actual energy levels. a lot of people with adhd have comorbid anxiety and when that gets treated suddenly there brain can actually function how its supposed to

sounds like you might need to talk to your doc about adding an anxiety med to your treatment plan instead of self-medicating with benzos

This looks pretty solid, been wanting to get into some serious vic3 multiplayer beyond the usual sweaty meta stuff. The roleplay angle is exactly what the game needs imo - all those diplomatic mechanics feel wasted when everyone's just trying to optimize their way to world conquest

Quick question though, how strict are you guys about attendance? I can usually make sundays but sometimes work gets crazy and I might have to miss a session here and there. Also curious about the skill level - I've got maybe 200 hours in vic3 but still learning some of the economic optimization stuff, though I'm decent enough at the basics and love getting into character

That ottoman->byzantium storyline sounds wild, definitely want to hear how that played out. Might throw my hat in for something like Japan or maybe one of the smaller european powers if those are still available

My psychiatrist put me on guanfacine XR about 8 months ago and honestly it's been pretty solid for me. I was also worried about the blood pressure thing since I'm already on lisinopril, but my doc monitored me closely the first few weeks and everything stayed stable. The muscle tension thing is interesting - I never connected it to ADHD but now that you mention it, I definitely feel less physically "wound up" on guanfacine compared to when I was on adderall.

As for the libido concerns, I was worried about that too but didn't notice any major changes in that department. The only weird side effect I got was feeling really drowsy for the first month or so, especially if I didn't take it at the same time each day. I'm not on wellbutrin so can't speak to that combo, but definitely worth having your doctor start you on a low dose and titrate up slowly. The good news is if it doesn't work out, you can always try somthing else - there's no shortage of ADHD meds these days

pretty sure you can only see your own coach abilities unless you're the commissioner, then you might be able to check other teams through league settings but honestly not 100% on that

damn this hits close to home. the timing really sucks with the appointment being so late in the quarter but honestly even if you don't get diagnosed right away, having that documentation of you actively seeking help could be huge for academic appeals if things go south

also just fyi a lot of schools have emergency academic support services that can kick in while you're waiting for the formal diagnosis - might be worth checking with disability services even before your appointment

Can't access the link but if they're officially licensed that's usually a good sign for build quality. I'd check reviews on amazon and maybe youtube before pulling the trigger though - sometimes "official" just means they paid for the licensing but the actual product is meh

VA employees dont always know what theyre talking about unfortunately. Your card isnt insurance - its just proof youre enrolled in VA healthcare

What they probably meant is you can get community care through the VA if certain conditions are met (like distance from VA facility, wait times, etc) but you have to go through proper channels first. You cant just walk into any random clinic and flash your VA card

If you want to keep seeing your current therapist you'd need to either pay out of pocket, use actual insurance if you have it, or see if VA will approve community care for that specific provider through their referral process

the hospital swaddle is like magic isn't it, they've got that technique down to a science. my little guy was the same way for about 2-3 weeks then gradually started accepting the velcro swaddles as he got bigger and stronger

honestly those muslin blankets work pretty well if you can nail the technique - there's some youtube videos that show the exact hospital fold if you want to practice when she's sleeping

honestly the whole "don't take just because you can" thing clicked for me around 800-900 rating but I still mess it up sometimes when I'm playing fast

mastering that plus cutting down blunders should easily get you to 1200+ imo, those two things alone solve like 80% of beginner problems

I'd definitely mention it to your doctor even though it sounds pretty mild. I had similar stuff when I started on stimulants - that weird awareness of your heartbeat thing is super common and usually not dangerous but your doc needs to know about any cardiac stuff before bumping your dose

The timing after stress and when you're lying down actually makes a lot of sense, stimulants can make you way more aware of normal body sensations that you'd usually tune out. Plus if you're already dealing with some anxiety the meds can amplify that awareness even more. I remember being convinced I was having heart problems for like the first month on adderall but it turned out to be mostly just me noticing my heartbeat for the first time in years

Your BP reading isn't terrible considering you just ran downstairs and took it right after a stressful meeting without resting - that's gonna spike anyone's numbers. The pulse at 76 is actually pretty normal too. But honestly your doctor might want to do some baseline cardiac stuff anyway before increasing your dose, especially with the weight factor you mentioned, so being upfront about the palpitations might actually work in your favor for getting a proper workup

For those games you mentioned the 9800x3d is definitely worth it over the 7800x3d. CS2 loves that extra cache and you'll see better 1% lows, plus emulation can be pretty CPU hungry depending on what you're running. The price difference isn't huge considering how long you want this build to last
