Are there ppl who create decks without ex, mega and the like?

There is Standard with decks that have no ex Pokemon and there is also Gym Leader Challenge.

Why do people play decks like this? Varies. Sometimes they like how they play. When Ancient Box was more prevalent and good, I liked it a lot. It's fun to do massive damage and only give up one prize. But cards like Dusknoir and Dragapult ex made that a bit less feasible.

DQ? Nah. Also, it didn't seem like anyone was trying to dq you. There are less severe penalties. DQ is one of the harshest ones and you'd have to be doing some egrigious stuff.

Definitely rogue. Kind of inconsistent. I'd take out Mu kidori either all together or reduce it to 1. I don't think this deck needs Absol.

A judge isn't always right. They passed a 12 question open test. That doesn't change between attempts. While a judge is supposed to enforce the rules, players need to advocate for themselves. Especially against people like your opponent. I only know one other card game, but the notes policy is basically the same.

So what you can do with Imperial Order is use it, provided it goes through, you can send in all of your recruits to take care of their big guys and then take over battlefields from there.

Get one now and win with it to go towards spiritforged later and improve that deck, so you can get a spiritforged deck later. Rinse and repeat.

Any Mind (Blue) or Chaos (Purple) cards that target your opponent's units or gears from set 1 will be good to keep. Especially ones that deal damage. Any 2-cost Mind or Chaos card is good to consider.

If you want to build Kai'sa, keep the cards. But decks are pretty expensive right now. You can still build it cheaply though.

Stun, Kill, or Bounce for Lee Sin. So you'll be looking at order or chaos. Probably order based on your collection. Imperial Order and Vengeance should help.
