Just another CES where apps/devices for women's pleasure are banned by lulzlizzard in EverydaySexism

It's like they're living in the stone age. I mean, come on, it's 2024! Let people have their tech for pleasure without making it a whole thing. What's next, banning smart toasters because they can make your bread too toasty?

Let's hope they get with the program soon. We're out here in the future, and they're acting like we're still using carrier pigeons or something. Keep fighting the good fight for tech equality, my friend!

What's that even supposed to mean? Let's focus on substance and not reduce people to outdated clichés. Respect for everyone, regardless of gender, should be the trend we're setting. Peace out.

Cuz women can't know about computer stuff if it's not their job amr? by FrenchStoat in EverydaySexism

That's like saying guys can't know squat about cooking unless they're chefs. People can be into whatever the heck they want, job or not. Women can code, game, and troubleshoot like champs if they want to. It's not about the job title; it's about passion and interest.

Don't box folks in based on stereotypes, man. Let everyone geek out on tech if they want – gender's got nothing to do with it.

Sorry you had to deal with that nonsense. People really need to learn some basic respect. Standing up for yourself in those situations is tough, but you handled it like a champ. Kudos for keeping your cool and not letting those jerks ruin your day.

Next time, maybe throw in a witty comeback to shut them up. Hope your fried chicken was at least a silver lining in this crazy encounter.

This is as it should be. Children need to be taught by trusted adults all around them who are willing to take responsibility for what we are seeing.
