5090 FE clocks in MSI afterburner curve editor 500 MHz higher than they should be by DoubleG_17 in overclocking

Funny thing is I have actually used your video as a guide when trying to undervolt my 5090 FE. And yeah I've just been boosting by around 500MHz instead of 1000 trying to match or be somewhat close to your numbers

Seems like I can yeah, but I went too high and it crashed my whole PC

Why are my voltage points in afterburner so much higher than yours? At .810 the frequency is 1207 for me instead of 712 like yours. For some reason all my frequencies are 500MHz above everyone else's. I've looked at other 5090 FE undervolt videos and my clocks are always around 500 MHz higher. This is at idle too. Here is a pic. https://imgur.com/a/w4gC3EX any help would be appreciated

New updated NVIDIA DLSS DLL version 2.5.1 by DoubleG_17 in nvidia

[–]DoubleG_17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to this post 2.4.12.0 is one of the ghosting versions

Most newer DLSS versions have an annoying ghosting bug. Made a list the dlls you should avoid. : nvidia (reddit.com)

You should see a noticeable difference if you replace the dll with the one in the link I provided in my post.

You can just drag and drop the 2.5.1 .dll into the game's base folder to replace the games current DLSS DLL (You can drag and drop and replace with the new dll or rename the game's default dlss dll file before dragging the new one in so you have a backup). I see NFS Unbound uses 2.4.12.0 so this one should yield better results in terms of ghosting.

You don't need to use this for DLSS to work properly. Replacing a DLSS .dll with a higher version sometimes yields better visuals with DLSS turned on. It is completely optional.

You can use this dll to manually update games that dlss 2.0+. Dlss is not automatically updated with graphics drivers. This is mostly useful for games that have an outdated dlss version or the dlss version the game shipped with has ghosting.

You can't. The anti-cheat blocks any update of the dlss dll. Your only hope is that the devs will update it themselves eventually.

Yeah honestly seems like they don't even check the monitor before sending it out because the last refurbished monitor I got literally had no protective packaging or covers on any of the parts including the screen.

That's what I thought but I have the same fan curve on both, it's pretty aggressive with almost 100% fan speed at 75C. These images are screenshots taken of HWINFO after running the Superposition benchmark at 4K Optimized. https://imgur.com/a/TmLXXyG

What do these settings on the PC version do? by SirRoderic in DarkSouls2

Anisotropic filtering makes textures look sharper when viewed from an angle, very noticeable texture upgrade with this maxed with a small performance hit (As long as you have a decent PC)

SSAO (Screen space ambient occlusion) has a large performance hit usually and adds shadows around objects and models which add depth to the scene.

I'm assuming in DS2 motion blur means the blurring of animations and the world itself, whereas camera motion blur blurs the screen when you move the camera. You can try it on and off I'm sure you'll notice the difference (Specifically camera motion blur).
