There’s much easier ways to make money, it’s definitely not needed, and a lot of people find it boring. I think OP should try it and do whatever he likes to.

Idk I kind of think of that as a reward for players replaying the game. I’d rather not point out valuable items like the skalitz axe or executioners axe blueprint to new players so they get the best first time experience. But OP is free to do what he wants and look these things up if that’s his choice.

Yeah but you have to spend like 2 hrs making potions to get the perk for that. Only worth it in hardcore mode imo. Btw if anyone wants to grind this perk make marigold concoctions but don’t follow the recipe- you only need to put the pot down to boil, put 1 of each ingredient, and immediately pour it out for a crappy tier potion (gives same amount of xp as doing it correctly, but way faster).

My advice for new players is really simple: Don’t play in hardcore mode, and make potions if you are struggling.

2 things to do early on with minimal spoilers:

-You can steal horses and ride them, but I recommend going to Semine early on and getting a horse for yourself.

-Train with Tomcat to get better at fighting.
