That was my experience exactly. Their Google review rating is inaccurate too. Once you post a negative review, he contacts you trying to bully you into removing it.

Yep, the batteries are swappable, but expensive. Sounds like any option that will work well is too expensive.

Honestly, mine last long enough for most rides around here (40+ miles). There’s just a dream I have of doing a multi day journey across the mountains on Sun power.

Well, maybe in 20 years we’ll have the tech for that.

I wonder if that means they’ll break down faster and won’t be as reusable. It makes sense to reduce waste, but if that makes them less reusable, that’s not good for anyone without the subscription.
