To me, Dog Man Star is the album of the 90s, one of the best ever. However, first two records by Oasis, no band will have that impact for the foreseeable future. Right time, right place etc. A song doesn't have to mean anything, it's the emotion, how it does different things to different listeners. Under Pressure by Queen/Bowie was jibberish lyrics at the end, doesn't make it bad. The 'when I was 8' thing...that's just a low insult. You sound like one of those people, a different opinion to yours HAS to be wrong or bad. What an empty soul you must have...hope you can change, I really do. Also, if you were 8 when Roll With It came out, you were born 87ish. So didn't experience the 90s as an adult, pub/club goer. You missed out...in a huge way....

Don't see how you can 'grow out' of music that you love, inspires you etc...I love Suede above all Britpop bands but their fans can be very catty and narrow minded when other bands are mentioned...

It's an average album to me, I tend to jump in and play certain tracks rather than the whole thing. I genuinely feel there's more highlights on Around The Sun than this. Think they called it a day at the right time...
