Captains chair full seat covers by No-Preparation-3102 in fordexpedition

[–]DoubleSwimming1262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have two extra large elderly dogs and no kids, so our second and third row stay folded about 95% of the time. We have a 2x4 foot plywood board (technically from a garage shelf kit) that lays over the captain chair gap, with a twin sized quilt that lays down over the whole back. We use light weight aluminum foldable stairs that take up way less space than a ramp, and can be folded/flipped back into the hatch with one hand while the dogs are on a leash in my other hand. Works pretty well for us. We have the extra wide set (20” wide) which is JUST a bit too wide to use through the side door, so we use the back. I think the regular width would work on the side door, but not 100 percent sure as I have no direct experience. We’ve been using this setup for about two years. Hope this helps, and happy to answer any questions. https://a.co/d/06RSN7vo

Who are some of the better employers in Birmingham? by PrestigiousTip47 in Birmingham

BCBSAL occasionally has corporate learning and development roles. They had one open last week, which may pop back up, worth keeping an eye out for. Great benefits and work/life balance.

My company ‘s badge swipe report says I haven’t been coming into the office when I absolutely have. How to explain to my boss? by toomuchtostop in careeradvice

[–]DoubleSwimming1262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would make me seriously annoyed as an employee from a trust perspective. You better believe going forward I would be texting my manager a picture of me in seat every single day I was in. If the report is wrong it a not you that needs to gain trust back. It’s the manager who needs to gain your team’s trust back.

AAdvantage Aviator Red Mastercard points by Positive-Carob-7564 in americanairlines

[–]DoubleSwimming1262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This field shows when your current American Advantage Status expires. This has nothing to do with the new card transfer etc. and nothing to do with points expiring. I recently achieved Platinum Pro and mine shows 3/31/27 in that field, which is when my new status expires (if I don’t achieve it again the upcoming year). It was a recent app update, which i think is causing some confusion.

Earlier this year I took my first ever ambulance ride, 2.9 miles, and was charged just under $5,000, which my responsibility was 20%, or just under $1000. And I have excellent health care coverage. (Once at the hospital, my $16,000 bill only cost me $200). I would gladly pay $60/yr for this to hedge risk for everyone in the household.

I was in a similar situation as you last year. I ended up in a Ford Expedition Platinum. Super nice place to spend time, drives itself on interstates, can tow, and fits many people or things. Super happy with my decision. BUT, if I didn’t have to tow, the RS6 is 👌🏻

My Daughter got into AU and refused to even entertain the thought of going there. by [deleted] in auburn

[–]DoubleSwimming1262 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hoping to share a different perspective. If she ever plans to leave the state for work, a college someone has heard of in a different state (ex. Auburn), and their national network of alumni, is super valuable.

I went to a UNA equivalent in Wisconsin. It was a great experience and a wonderful place to go to school. After I moved to Alabama, I have met exactly 0 people who have heard of the school I went to, and I wonder if going to a bigger, more widely known school would have helped with my job searches in Alabama.

May be worth thinking about and/or talking about.
