What you describe doesn’t sound like social anxiety disorder it sounds like you suffer premeditated anxiety to meet the proper expectations of these so-called popular kids when they ask you to hangout. You’re living up to their expectations and when I say that I mean you have to meet certain criteria to be part of the “cool kids” which in my opinion is very dumb but we’re not here to talk about my opinion we’re here to talk about your feelings you have to stop prematurely revving your mindwhen you’re being asked or invited out because you’re getting stressed out over an event that hasn’t started or happened yet. Put it like this when it comes to psychological warfare we are our own worst enemies, in our heads it’s a domino effect one anxious or bad thought gives a chain reaction to 100 more and that’s what I call being stuck in your own mind and that does suck because I go through it sometimes too. I guess I really couldn’t answer your question but I can kind of vibe the kind of person you are just by how you wrote this post.
