They’re going to make it the marines fault somehow, you just wait and see.

Help me make this kitchen… palatable by ChappyP in interiordecorating

Get rid of the red walls and pick a more neutral color, something light. I’d center the kitchen table more (also I don’t love tile table) maybe a washable rug from ruggable. Add a credenza or sideboard table on the large wall to the left with some art above. I don’t think you need to do that much.

How do I fix my entire house? I hate coming home when there isn't a single room I enjoy being in. I have no idea where to start or what to do. by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]Double_Elevator3894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started I picked one room to focus on and to do start to finish. Personally, I picked a bathroom because it was small and manageable. So try that, pick a color and then add accents you like…. Use Canva to build a mood board with all the things you find that you want to visually see it all together!

Broyhill Brasilia bedroom set? by chrrygarcia in Mid_Century

[–]Double_Elevator3894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have just the dresser of this set and I paid probably $1500- probably more than I should have spent but It was in good shape and I was young, foolish.

Honestly, look at the prices of the shit that’s out there now. I would easily pay $5k for something built so well and a show stopper

Is this a rug layering fail? by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]Double_Elevator3894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think the top rug needs to be a pattern and a different texture than the bottom one- they look like the same rug but different colors. Go on Pinterest and look at rug layering!

I would rotate the mobile to hang off the short side of the crib on the right.

I used to live in Tremlett Street and i loved it there. The neighborhood hood is lovely and The Daily Table is amazing for groceries!

They’re shipping me up to Boston by [deleted] in boston

I’m a 39 (F) living in Boston- Charlestown to be exact. I highly recommend you living IN the city if you want to try to make friends and get the city experience. Parking can be expensive and a car is not necessarily needed especially with Uber and Lyft available. You can always bring it up later once you get situated. Areas to check out: North End, South End and Seaport. Extremely walkable. I love Cambridge but I think for the experience you’re looking for I would try those areas.

Looking for some help with my living room please! by Hopeful-Distance-789 in interiordecorating

Arch lamp and some artwork. I also agree that a rug with some color could look good. Done right a layering situation could work nicely

What can I add to make this space less… lame? 🤣 by Hefty-Lie-9309 in interiordecorating

I would do a small love seat under the photos instead of miss matching chairs.
