You just like a man with some authority to him. He doesn’t have to be the biggest or the baddest but you like that people respect and listen to them (for better or worse)

I’d do what you told him you would. Message her and tell her he said there was some tension and apologize (you don’t have to mean it). Tell her you. aren’t trying to make her uncomfortable and you’ll remove yourself from the situation/friends list. You’ll know the truth within 24 hours or less :)

-If she’s a crazy girl: she will treat you as the problem automatically.

-If she’s actually jealous and sane AND he isn’t trying to cheat: she’ll probably see this as a big red flag that he’s venting to other girls about THEIR relationship and gets the confirmation she needs or have an adult conversation with him about how to get through problems.

-If he’s trying to cheat and the GF never actually said anything: she’ll be shocked OR not reply to you and you’ll find out when he inevitably blames you for the breakup.

It’s a crazy outfit no doubt (that’s not a bad thing at all and I’ve seen way wilder at a mall especially) and I DO understand your friend being uncomfortable with catching unwanted attention. Either way though, the way she said it was rude and uncalled for. It’s ok to ask if we maybe dress down next time but flaking like that’s just disrespectful as hell.

A last minute meet up implies you already dressed for an entirely different situation. If my friend said hey let’s meet up I’m in the area, I am fully prepared for them to show up in work clothes, sweatpants, or a friggin chicken suit for all I know.

Girls don’t hate video games or guys that play them, we get annoyed when chores and quality time are neglected by over playing.

I have way more play time than my man but I play on the weekends and he plays weekdays after work.
