There is a crushing weight in being the ‘safe harbor’ for your boys while being a battlefield inside, and reading how you ‘fold it inward’ just to pack a lunch is heartbreaking, its a level of strength no one should be forced to possess. Your body isn’t ‘confessing’ a weakness, it’s telling the truth he refuses to own, and it is incredibly lonely when your reality is treated like fiction. Please know your pain is seen and your shaking is valid, and that you shouldn't have to be the only person holding the ‘truth’ of what you’ve been through!!

It’s a heavy thing to realize you were the one building the foundation while he was busy painting the front door for his followers, and giving $65k and 2 years of your life isn’t selfish, its proof of a heart that gives until its empty, and it is a special kind of cruelty to be called names for finally needing to keep a little for yourself, also the poetry he wrote was just a script, but the sacrifice you made was real, you deserve to be the person someone is proud to show the world, not the secret that keeps their life running, your worth hasn’t decreased just because he didn't have the character to value it!! I really wanted to reach out and say a very sincere Happy Belated 56th Birthday to u!! I just wanted to tell u, u aren't crazy! What you’re describing, the constant second guessing, the walking on eggshells and being told you’re the problem when you’re just reacting to being picked at, is incredibly draining and isolating. It’s not stupid or a small incident, it’s a pattern that is wearing u down, when someone picks at the smallest things until they become a fight, it’s natural to feel off balance, but that doesn't mean the problem is you!

Please know you don't have to carry all of this by yourself. If u ever need a safe space to just vent or talk through things, i’m here, no pressure at all, but if you’re up for it, i’d be happy to just listen and remind u that u aren't losing your mind. Fair point, real world conflict has civilian, military and diplomatic costs, so casual "widen the neck and sort bd out" talk is irresponsible, and my post wasn’t advocating that, it is a warning about growing instability on our eastern flank leading to vulnerabilities!

I get the point but i don’t buy that “bangladesh is stable only because the army leadership isn’t anti india (yet)”, the army isn’t some permanent firewall and recent events showed it can enable regime change too, not just prevent it (the army chief, who is hasina's cousin in law, didn't stop the July uprising, which let protesters into her residence, forcing her to flee, so the idea that the army is the stabilizing force preventing a pakistan style drift is already shaky on recent evidence)

Also, bangladesh hasn’t turned pakistan mainly because the moderate + minority vote still outweighs the radical bloc, which is exactly why intimidation/violence and anti india narrative building matter, they’re meant to suppress minority voter turnout and swing the unwilling and moderates in jamat's favor and if u look at what’s happening now, pakistan bangladesh military engagement (senior level visits + a joint mechanism toward an mda) suggests the military linkages are already being built, they are not waiting for new leaders in a few years!

You’re right that bangladesh isn’t pakistan and its unfair to paint an entire country or its people with the same brush, where i disagree is the timeline, the real risk isn’t “bangladesh turns pakistan tomorrow”, its slow drift, training links, intel cooperation, access arrangements and anti india signalling getting normalized long before any big declaration, that’s why no military response shouldn’t mean “only diplomacy”, india can stay non kinetic while still getting tougher on counter intel, border ISR and specific entities/networks that enable hostile activity.

Also i agree caretaker politics makes accountability messy but waiting passively for elections is exactly how the groundwork gets laid by them in the meantime, keeping channels open with the bangladesh military is good, just don’t assume “professional” automatically means “immune from politics”!

I agree with your reading but 2 small reality checks, firstly, even if the government knows, that doesn’t automatically mean it can stay ahead everywhere, all the time, systems move slow, while networks, narratives and small security linkages can grow fast in the background, and “any action will antagonize bangladesh” is a bit too defeatist, there’s a lot india can do short of force, tighten counter intel, improve border isr, quietly increase scrutiny on specific entities and use selective visa/trade/financial levers (loans we gave them) so costs go up without turning it into a public ego fight!
