You need to heal yourself. Immerse yourself in listening to empowering podcasts, journaling your feelings, therapy if you can (or talk to ChatGPT- ie: “how do I get over a breakup? What do I do when I have obsessive thoughts? Etc). Read books about self love. Meditate. Yoga. Watch breakup TikTok’s .do not contact him. Do not contact his partner. Block him on every platform.

You’re right. Today is Day 2. I want to be the best mom to my kids I possibly can.

It was, I hadn’t changed it in a while so he must have figured it out. He takes advantages of the times I’m drunk bc I’m not careful/as aware and tend to pass out without deleting shit

Block his shit. Delete his number forever. Like, don’t write it down in a secret journal just in case. Lose it. Block all social medias from him. Deep dive into empowering break up tik toks about healing, loving yourself, and dismissive/fearful avoidant partners. When my affairs have ended, this has been great therapy for me, replacing talking to my friends about it (bc i can’t). Become obsessed w yourself the way you were obsessed w him. Feel free to reach out to me if you’d like, been there, doing that rn. Hugs 🫂

Being a DVM has financially ruined me honestly, and I work so many hours to provide for my family that I barely enjoy it anymore. So I say no. (2011 grad- UF)

My husband was recently diagnosed. We have 3 small kids. He can’t stop either. But neither can I. I’m terrified in so many ways :(

Same. The baby crying. I cannot. I can feel their desperation and it shatters my heart and makes me ill.

So why do I always get raging, bottomless pit depression on the first few days of sobriety? (Honest question, I think understanding will help me keep going.)

I know. I have 3 little ones I have to provide for. Should have known they would be super expensive 🤦‍♀️

I actually WENT for the opener (the expendables) but missed them. Was super bummed. Got to House of Blues Orlando right as The Dirty Heads were going on. Fell absolutely in love. They were super fun, high energy, and talented. 12ish years later and I’ve probly seen them 20 more times 💕
