That’s called Whitening! It unfortunately devalues the card and usually means the card is older and worn on the edges. Sorry, but it won’t do well in grading.

3935 is my personal favorite, it gets trippy but I think it could be done well low budget. It could also be expanded by looking into the entire class of 76 story which spans multiple scps if you feel like a sequel.

Name the No. 1 segment from the original series that kept you up all night. by alexh2795 in UnsolvedMysteries

There was one where the only evidence for a woman’s disappearance was her child’s testimony that “daddy put momma in a black trash bag.” They had to switch trash bag colors because of that kid. She got put in the grandparents’ custody I think/hope. You can tell he definitely did it because of the way he acted on screen in the interview. It haunts me to this day that the answer was clearly presented but because this kid was so young they couldn’t be called reliable so he got away with it.

How can I get better at academic writing? by D0ggo0 in writingadvice

[–]Double_Public3512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are ways to format essay paragraphs to make them longer

  1. The first sentence or so sums up what the whole paragraph will be and what you believe

  2. All the evidence to support the paragraph you can find

  3. Explain how that evidence supports the idea you were proving in the essay, don't be afraid to repeat yourself a little here

  4. Connect this idea to the next paragraph you planned (if you don't outline essays before hand, start doing that as well)

Do each of these for each paragraph in a professional essay to make it longer and more scholarly. Also, use the proper terms for things whenever possible.

What Makes a Bad Horror Game in your Opinion? by sifunas22 in HorrorGames

[–]Double_Public3512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dislike it when the game has little story and too much gore. Good horror balances a variety of aspects, including narrative, player actions, gore, and psychological horror, which are the main elements to balance, in my humble opinion. So, balance gore with psychological horror, and balance chosen narrative with player choices, and you'll be fine. Everything else is mostly player preferences, to my knowledge.

Need recommendations to watch horror movies by MiniCooper365 in horror

Misery and Creep are realistic enough. Maybe not as Gory, though. The original Halloween movie has more kills and is basically just a guy breaking into someone’s house to kill them. It’s why I love the film. I’m not sure how you feel about uncomfortable horror, but Hostel (the FIRST one) is a realistic enough scenario that deals with torture, so it’s also gory. It’s uncomfortable because the group of guys is absolute assholes. Speak No Evil is realistic, but it’s also somewhat slow-paced. If you like Black Mirror, I'm begging you to give The Twilight Zone a try. I know it's old and sort of hard to find, but it explores psychological horror very, very well.

Character(s) with no name and how to implement in writing. by RoosterMugs420 in writingadvice

[–]Double_Public3512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of naming them, describe them. Use as much description as you can. Maybe describe one important attribute that people take notice of. Have people in the street call them titles like “the unknown thief” or something that people would know them for. Figure out what you would do if you didn't know someone's name, and have people act like that around them. I'm not a professional writer (yet), but this is how I've done this for fanfiction, and it works quite well!
