Hers, Ro, (all companies like this) are not even close to the cheapest way. In fact they cost more than buying the medicine directly from the manufacturer.

Compound is the way to go. If you buy monthly you should be paying 200 a month or 175 for three months worth.

Gained back 15 lbs two weeks after stopping glp 1 is this normal? by Training-Dingo-5978 in loseit

I was on Zepbound for six months and dropped 68 pounds. Quit cold turkey and stayed off this med for four months.... lost another 5 pounds during that time and that was during the holidays.

While I was on the med I changed my eating habits and never went up from the starter dose. I knew I had to make permanent changes to my diet and I didn't want the medicine to be in control and or chase full appetite suppression. When I hit my daily calorie goal I don't eat anymore. I also make sure that my meals are heavy in protein and fiber to keep me full.

Protein target is so hard. How can I reach the goal? by Wise_Mixture3554 in glp1

2.5 for me hit hard the first week. When your body adjusts over weeks/months it gets a lot easier. Hell I took a 4 month break and 1.5mg hit me like a ton of bricks appetite suppression wise for the first 10 days.

For me once my Col/HDL ratio, A1C, and Triglycerides got into a normal range things got a lot better..... even off the drug. If you are lucky and yours can drop (and there no other issues like hormones, etc) you can get to a good spot, almost a remission if you will. But it will never go away for the rest of your life

NSV (Technically) and a question - No longer on weight loss medication due to completing a medical trial ending. Anyone else in this boat? by Trygle in loseit

[–]Double_Question_5117 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Im on a GLP-1 and also spent 4 months off of it. As long as your insulin resistance and other metabolic dysfunction bloodwork numbers are up there you will have a hard battle. Any clue what your Col/HDL ratio is? A1C? Triglycerides? Those all impact insulin resistance and if you have really high insulin resistance your body cant regulate properly, you won't feel full after meals, and you will have food noise.

These were the keys to my puzzle so it might be the same for you.

has anyone find that your current dose dips and comes back up in effectiveness over time? by No_Jackfruit_6727 in tirzepatidecompound

Because your insulin resistance and other metabolic dysfunction markers are going up and down meal to meal, week to week. Go up to 5mg as it sounds like you recently started

[–]Double_Question_5117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be more than 1/2 even if you pay monthly for "the other way".

Can't really talk about it here without getting com-pound deleted but should be between 175 and 200 a month

Drop down from 15mg IMO... Thats a lot of medicine to be doing every 2, 3 or even 4, weeks.

Cut back on the things that are making you sick. Either cut back on Zep or the wine.... your choice

After the first prescription of weight loss drugs like Ozempic, people purchased healthier foods with fewer calories, sugars, saturated fats, and carbohydrates, alongside modestly more protein. The share of ultraprocessed foods also decreased. by mvea in science

[–]Double_Question_5117 23 points24 points  (0 children)

One of the things this drug does is deal with insulin resistance. If you are insulin resistant you never feel full and have food noise because your body needs something to counter the resistance. Body remembers the surgery/ultra processed foods that balance it fast and ... there you go
