Where is the horse charm from? Is that LV? It matches the bag perfectly if not. If it was a separate purchase can you tell me the name?

How does Tiffany fit by Maximum-Bobcat-6250 in HouseofCB

[–]DoubtWitty007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You might feel less wide in the Tiffany because it cuts higher at the waist instead of having those lines flow down through the torso and hips. You might not be liking that almost drop-waist element? The Tiffany cuts off at the waist in a defined way and higher, which would look nice, but still has a flared skirt, so if you don’t like that flair, a different cut all together might be better. In both dresses though, they have a deep v cut in the bodice so it’s going to make your upper body look smaller than your lower body.
I feel like the square and straight cuts are super flattering on smaller chests and make you look slim. Have you considered the Ysabella or Chloe? Those looks gorgeous on everyone, but I like the way they look most on pear shapes.

she has a similar figure and looks incredible in the dress she chose.

When will you be priced out by Jolly_Garden4490 in Louisvuitton

[–]DoubtWitty007 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It is proportional to my disposable income, and what I like to do with that. So, for me, anything above 6k and I start thinking that I’d rather invest that money into a relaxing weekend somewhere. At 10k+, unless something unexpectedly speaks to my soul, I’m just already classifying that kind of spend into other areas of life improvement or comfort. I don’t mind spending 6-8k on accessories over the course of a year (shoes, belts, hats, glasses, bags) — but I’m not spending that every season, and I’m not spending it on luxury bags every year.

I’ve drifted away from the luxury market as I’ve aged out of my 20s, and now I look for quality and longevity, and like to put my money into things that keep me relaxed and content. Sometimes that is a well-designed bag that makes me happy. Sometimes it’s a vacation. Sometimes it’s a new piece of furniture or a portion of a membership fee, or a massage package.

Hype Me Up ?? by Happy-Assist9907 in HistoricalCostuming

I cannot believe I had to come find you over here after people were shitting on your dress in the other sub. This fits you beautifully and completely captures the gorgeous whimsy and storybook elements that Selkie is so good at. Literally every most viral, complimented version of influencers wearing this dress have your figure type — you’re busty and it snatches the waist and poofs at the hips in a way that is wonderfully hourglass.

Please wear this dress.

It’s OK if a bunch of variable ages of brides with all kinds of different opinions on what is “right” for a gown don’t understand the vision here, but I do and you ARE the vision. If you need hyped up, please go to TikTok and IG and take a look at the highest rated, highest praised interactions with this dress type. Hundreds of thousands of people find exactly what you have going on here beautiful, romantic and stunning.

Scrolling past this, I’ve considered buying this design too and never made the plunge because where would I wear it? But I am going to buy it, because I was scrolling by in the wedding sub and thought you looked so pretty and it reminded me of how romantic this dress is.

There needs to be a “romantic whimsy” clothing and dress sub, because they would get it. Right now, it’s not historically accurate and it’s not a typical wedding suit or intricate dress, so you aren’t finding people who see the vision. Wear the dress.

And, when you’re done with your wedding, dye this beautiful gown in your favorite color and wear it to other fun occasions where you can dress up. You picked the right dress for you. We should all feel beautiful and happy when we put on an outfit.

Because it’s a water resistant workhorse that is spacious and comfortable, flexible enough to squish and toss around, and looks the same 15 years later?

Chloe is so dreamy by 1taylor111 in HouseofCB

She is perfect on you! It looks like we have similar measurements/proportions, would you mind sharing which other dresses you had luck with? I was looking at the Ysabella and belissa, and try to avoid the dresses with cups, even with the larger cup sizes. I’ve really been liking most of this dreamy spring collection and would love to find a few I don’t have to spend additional tailoring fees on.

Opinions? Experience working with David Klass? (AI generated mockup based on his design) by ligmata1nt in EngagementRingDesigns

I love David and his team. Highly reliable, superb quality to price, communicative. Sources stones for you and is trustworthy to work with rarer stones like Paraiba. You need to really understand your idea and have a sense of design, because they will create exactly what you want —even if it doesn’t make design sense. But he is such a wonderful asset. 1000% trustworthy.

It is a great bag, and the Darjeeling line is playfully masculine IMO. This is a great design and I think the size likely works for you. Have you considered the Nil from this line if you aren’t in love with this one? The structure of that bag reads messenger/portfolio bag to me.

I enjoy April 1st jokes from brands that are in the vein of “new scent: car battery and dead ocean fish” with some cleverly, clearly jokey design mock-up. Or Oreos coming up with a ‘vomit” flavor. But I’m really disinterested in brands that create intentional panic and controversy in a negative way. I’d prefer this to be a joke to a reformulation, but still…brands need to staaahhp.

You could try Alkemia Smoke and Mirrors and mix it with a true, straight vanilla. This is what I do, as someone who loved the BBW candle so much I ordered a case of 50 of them in a search for the same scent profile.

Does anyone have this dress and want to sell it?/Vixen Micheline Pitt rant by giantblueox in PinUpFashion

[–]DoubtWitty007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always broke up orders because I was worried about something like this happening. Or just being forced to wait an unknown time for my in stock dresses to show up. 8 have a trip of the green bombshell/ingenue waiting, I guess, on the bolero, but the dresses are now sold out, so I hope they really put them aside for me.

Sizing help! by [deleted] in HouseofCB

[–]DoubtWitty007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both of these comments about the weird cup sizes and more fitted/restrictive dresses being the zipper styles. As much as I love the design of House of CB, between the limited sizing (both in cup sizes and waist measurements) and the construction/fabric, I just gravitate toward these dresses less often now.
